Now I'd like to fly that dragon...

Dragons have been chasing me my entire life, and now, my best friend is shacked up with one of them and about to give birth. Normally I’d stay away, but I need to make sure he’s safe. And when I meet Mason, the only person I am worried about is myself.

Mason puts my omega instincts into overdrive and awakens something in me that’s been dormant forever. I hate feeling out of control, but I can’t walk away from him.

The good doctor wants to protect me from my past and the things that I’ve done, but no matter how hot desire burns between us, I can’t surrender. But when old enemies put us all in danger, I’ll need a dragon alpha at my side if we’re going to survive.

I really enjoyed following Seth while he has a lot of baggage to sort out with affects his relationship with Mason as they have several altercations which leaves to them arguing. I also enjoyed how Mason got Seth to accept their mating while dealing with a problem with Seth’s grandfather. Narrator really brought the story to life.

Really enjoyed

His Dragon Protector(Divine Dragons Book 2)by Jill Haven.
This story develops nicely. A good combination of world building and character development. If you like M/Preg and shifter this was a good listen.
The Narrator Gabriel Amari did a good job bringing these characters and story to life.

Beautifully written and love the new to me narrator. Seth has lost his father and is about to steal from his Grandfather who just so happens to be a mob boss. When he is caught he calls Mason to come and get him. Little does he know he is Masons mate. The couple are so sweet whilst on the run from the mob boss. I want to be pregnant with a Dragons egg ONLY 8 Weeks, and how cute.

His Dragon Protector is the second book in the Devine Dragons Series written by Jill Haven and narrated by Gabriel Amari.
Whilst it can be read/listened to as a stand-alone as I did, I would recommend that you read the first in the series, His Elder Dragon, as there were some events and background, especially Dragon and Devine Omega information, that wasn’t really clear earlier on in the book, and I felt a little lost but soon picked things up.
The writing is very good and the characters well developed, there’s humour and an interesting storyline, although I thought Seth’s dilemma at the end was resolved rather easily considering the circumstances.
This is only the second audiobook I have listened to narrated by Garbriel Amari and he has improved significantly. He did an excellent job differentiating between characters and expressing emotions. A name to look out for in the future.

My points on this book

1. I like how this book does not follow most gay shifter books.

2. I like how this book picked its The narrator it’s very important for someone like me in my opinion to be able to clearly understand the reader and get lost in his or her voice

3. In my opinion some parts needed work but it did not mess up the story and I like how they added different cultures in the book

When buying make sure you read the description and the sample and see if you like the voice who is reading it to you that’s the most important thing before buying

My honest review
