Summary
Eine als Wild-West-Banditen verkleidete Bande begeht diverse Überfälle auf Banken und Juweliergeschäfte in und um London. Was von der Presse zunächst noch mit einem gewissen Schmunzeln betrachtet wird, schlägt jäh in Panik um, als es zu den ersten Toten kommt. Fortan geht die Angst vor der "Dalton Bande" um. Inspector Anthony Stafford und sein Partner Graves müssen sich den Banditen stellen, von denen sie noch nicht wissen, ob diese sich nur hinter der Western-Verkleidung verstecken oder inzwischen wirklich in ihren Rollen als schießwütige Reinkarnationen aufgegangen sind. Alles steuert auf ein Finale zu, das westernreif nur derjenige überlebt, der schneller zieht.
