After taking command of a carrier strike group deployed to the Mediterranean, Greek and Turkish tensions reach the boiling point when ships are lost under mysterious circumstances. With Flip's strike group in the region, Russia flexes its muscle, first with airpower, then with a naval deployment the volume of which the world had not seen since the Russo-Japanese War to deny the West use of the North Atlantic. Tasked by Washington to confront the onslaught, Flip must maneuver his forces to avoid detection and be in position to strike first when the order comes. When overhead sensors are denied, the action reverts to a traditional detect-to-engage slugfest in three-domains, a high-end fight at sea between two nuclear-armed navies that holds Europe and North America at risk.
Eleştirmen yorumları
"Suit up, strap in, and hold on. Equal parts fuel and adrenaline, you are about to be catapulted into a high-g world of modern aerial combat. Aviation action-adventure has a master, and his name is Kevin Miller." Jeff Edwards, author of Steel Wind
"Flip Wilson is back! Kevin Miller delivers again in his latest carrier aviation epic with our new favorite hero. If you loved the Raven One trilogy, you won't be able to put High End down. Mission accomplished!" Vincent Aiello, host of The Fighter Pilot Podcast
“High End is a sweeping saga of today's warfare on the high seas that plunges readers into the adrenaline-fueled world of carrier pilots and naval combat. The catapult fires on page one and the afterburners stay lit to the end. I’ll read anything Kevin Miller writes!” Jack Stewart, retired Navy fighter pilot and bestselling author of Unknown Rider, a Battle Born Thriller
The progression of characters with there ups downs and sideways movements in the narrative kept me waiting for the next twist, but a twist around the azimuth of a solid storyline. Very enjoyable and the narration accented the writing in a positive manner throughout.
Consistently Excellent

Some of the audio edits were mid sentence, and the edit was jarring. If you have to, just replace the whole sentence, not a couple of words.
Also, the audio gear used changed many times throughout, so the pitch and tone adjustments were also jarring.
Story was ok, more predictable than previous books in the series, but still good.
Audio edits poorly done
