When a brother-and-sister team uncover dangerous information hidden in an antique, they have no one to turn to but themselves in the first installment in a suspenseful new series by legendary, number one New York Times best-selling author Fern Michaels....

At first glance, few would guess that Luna and Cullan Bodman are siblings. Cullan is efficient and serious while his younger sister Luna is a free spirit. When the two launch their furniture restoration shop/café - an offshoot of the family’s longtime antique business - in an up-and-coming arts center, little do they know their unique talents may be their only defense in a matter of life and death.

When Luna gets a strange sense about a piece Cullan just acquired, the two find themselves uniting to solve a mystery that has far-reaching consequences - never knowing there are some who’ll stop at nothing to claim what they believe is theirs. Despite their differences, Luna and Cullan know they can rely on each other - and this time, their lives may depend on it...

not my usual listen. but really fell for the characters. while they could be thought of as a bit 'cartoonish' but that actually added to the charm. Will definitely listen to more. perfect for relaxing to.

other than that, a silly bit of implausible froth. burbled on in a pleasant way.

Nin-American accents are cringeworthy

If you enjoy romantic novels of the 's/he loves me, s/he loves me not' variety, you'll love this. That's the thrilling bit! It really isn't suspenseful or exciting otherwise.

It's a romance against a background of police investigations where intuition is more important than clues and evidence, and details of the characters' fashion sense are more important than investigation. This may be more to your taste than some of the grittier, darker thrillers on Audible, and it's all beautifully narrated by Eva Kaminsky.

More romance than mystery!

Very well written, and read very well. A very easy listen. A couple of smiles with a little conspiracy.

If you are looking for 'suspense', you are going to be disappointed. Overall not a bad story, though a little long-winded in places and not especially exciting.
