I enjoyed this as my first audio book. it was perfect. it was the type of book i wouldnt have wanted to put down. i still got to craft and listen to a good book.

Dramatic, with a nice slow burn. Predictable but that adds to the suspense. The narrator is good but very dramatic at reading. Not a huge fan of main character, she's so hot headed and angry that it's almost ridiculous, but it kinda works with the nature of the story. I don't relate to her at all. It's quite different for a romance, though, which is always interesting. Funnily enough, I can imagine it working on TV. With a Desperate Housewives vibe, lol.

Good story but the narrator was far too dramatic, predictable storyline but was enjoyable of not for the narrator would actively avoid any books narrated by this woman going forward. Predictable storyline made very frustrating by the narrators voice
