Edge of the seat stuff!

Brilliantly written, perfectly narrated, what's not to like? A great thriller that keeps you guessing from beginning to end with a twist I genuinely didn't see coming.

Her Last Tomorrow

I rarely fail to finish any book, but I’m afraid this one is beyond me. It’s just not well-written. The premise is an interesting one, but the exposition of it is poorly executed, lacking subtlety or finesse. The dual narrators lambasting their partners in a droning clumsy stream of consciousness feels like a year 9 effort. At first, tedious and obvious, then later, just silly and naive. I’m delighted he’s managed to pay his mortgage off with the proceeds of his books, but can I have my money back on this one, please?!
