Summary

Star of QI, Live at the Apollo and Have I Got News for You, German comedy ambassador Henning Wehn gives a hilarious outsider's view on modern British life compared to his home country.

Be it gently mocking this nation's obsession with the housing market or our tendency to laugh off personal failure, Henning is one of the funniest and most popular comedians around. And yes, there might be just the odd mention of the World Cup. Packed with laughs from start to finish, it’s wunderbar!

Superb

Made my holiday poolside listening an absolute treat. Very funny and very observant of our funny English ways. Absolutely loved it. People around me must have thought I was mad constantly giggling.

An enjoyable set

I always have liked Henning Wehn, the audio quality is good, albeit I found opening song grating. The set is funny, though looses a little to the fact his performance is evidently more designed for audiovisual consumption. Still very funny and worth a listen.

Made Me Laugh

What did you like most about Henning Wehn: Eins, Zwei, D.I.Y.?

I like watching Henning when he's on panel shows in the UK. Love the way he has picked up elements of the English language and uses them in perfect context. Amusing observations of life in the UK are throughout this live performance - some elements (as mentioned before) don't work without the visual but that didn't stop me laughing out loud throughout his performance :D

Be Careful

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Very funny, but just felt the need to warn people that there are quite a few visual gags which obviously doesn't fit the audible format

Do you think Henning Wehn: Eins, Zwei, D.I.Y. needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Look up series of "The Unbelievable Truth", he shows up for about two episodes per series

Very funny man!

I think this man is hilarious. What he says & the way he says it!
His gentle manner & delivery are the same as he presents in Mock The Week.
I highly recommend this show.

Wehn is varicose to perfection! lol

A great stand up by Henning. After 13 years of living in the UK, he really understands the British sense of humour. He balances his wit, a heir's width over the line of acceptable - playing the 'culturally different card' with every hand; knowing very well what he's doing and saying. Highly recommended.

It’s 1am and I just barked a laugh so loud it woke up my fellow renters

It takes an outsider to identify perfectly what indicates you’re in a pleasant English market town, and it’s not charming cottages, quaint tearooms or railway stations with hanging baskets. I won’t spoil it and there’s no point wasting your time trying to guess but as soon as you hear it you will know.
