Every first-time mom is afraid that they aren’t ready, that they aren’t prepared for this new phase of life. They doubt their capabilities and question whether they are going to be good enough.

  • How to get through your baby’s first week with flying colors–understand the reality you’re facing and know how to handle anything that comes your way
  • Exactly what your body goes through after birth so you know what’s happening and why, from postpartum to full recovery
  • Step-by-step guidance on how to breastfeed–and why many moms struggle
  • Common pitfalls with bottle-feeding (there’s more to bottle-feeding than you might realize!)
  • The truth behind sleep training–and how to get your baby sleeping through the night
  • How to properly take care of your newborn–uncover the best techniques to ensure you are doing everything you can for your child
  • Common newborn ailments and when to be concerned (do you understand what your baby is telling you?)
  • Milestones you can look forward to month by month
  • How to prioritize yourself as a new mom (your needs matter!)

And much more.

Being a new mom can feel scary, but it doesn’t need to be!

A topic that is not talked about enough, Postpartum recovery gets skipped over in most books and ignored. This was a really insightful guide explaining it in more depth and what to look out for. Self care is so important not just pre birth but post birth. Every mum should have this guide. Highly recommend!

Although I am man , this book made me much more aware of what my wife must go through to deliver and care for our child. I felt tremendous empathy, love and gratitude for all she goes through to give birth. It made me want to be more helpful and supportive in this process and early and pre-birth months. I must admit it was more detailed than I wanted to know but for an expecting or new mother you want that detail.
It pointed out important decisions that should be made before baby so born. it gave you tips and products that would be helpful within first year of birth for new mom. Chapter 5 provided tips on bottle feeding while ch #6 on sleeping.
This book was well organized and followed logically by topic so it is available reference guide for the first 6 months. Pdf was very helpful as it had pictures illustrate of the various holds and position that are difficult for me to visualize with just an audio book. Since PDF highlights the key points, it can be used as a reference tool go find the detail needed in applicable future situations.

This perfect for my cousin as she begins her journey of MOMhood! I knew my wife was sometimes overwhelmed with her emotions not intact so we know how hard it is to try and figure this out on your own, this resource is a gem that will take the stress away! This audiobook explained many details in context but one thing I really loved was the way it gives confidence and reassurance for what you will experience with your little one. It doesn't just share emotion and mindset management but it also gives care guidance such as breastfeeding, nutrition, and more. The narration was done well and gives the listener a pleasant experience. Great job by the author! Really, the best review I can give is "Approved by my wife!" and that says it all!

New moms will love this!

Every new mom should listen to this audio. Before there were no parenting manuals like we can find now; so, preparing to be a new parent makes sense. The author is very detailed in explaining how-to tips. The audiobook is thorough and includes the topics of postpartum and newborn care. Since every pregnancy is different, it would be a good idea to listen to this audiobook anyways. You will pick up some tips and good advice.

I have to mention that Jocelyn Goodwin's book, Help! I'm a New Mom: A First-Time Mother's Guide to Mastering Newborn Care and Postpartum Recovery, was tremendously useful and is a must-listen for all new mothers (and friends/family of new mothers)! It was simple to comprehend and assimilate the information thanks to the comforting and soothing tone and overall structure of the content. She was enlightening but also realistic and forthright with what to anticipate. I picked up a lot of new tips from dealing with postpartum recovery to how to change a diaper. Any new mother seeking direction and a greater knowledge of the new path they are about to on would benefit greatly from listening to this audiobook, in my opinion. I have a new-mom friend with a new baby and just felt out of touch with how to support her and even how to handle the baby. This material has already helped my husband and I be more supportive friends.

A must-listen for all first-time moms!
