However, if you would like to change your choices, Hello Sleep allows you to choose different voices (UK Female, UK Male, US Female, UK Male) and different background (Cicadas, Silence, Thunderstorms, Waves, White Noise) to customise the meditations to your exact preferences.

It worked for me

I was put off at the start by having a recognisable famous voice (plus I didn't actually believe in the theory!) but it did help. I'm a life-long insomniac with serious health problems and chronic pain so usually still awake at 4am. This helped on the first listen.

great audiobook but...

so I find the body sweep section gets me to sleep before it ends but that last section and have only listened to that section for months bo I thought I best see what the other sections are like... the secton called endings... what a way to wake you up! I have drifted off to sleep and all of a sudden I here the creepiest string noises ever! I woke up thinking I was in the TV show Grimm. Basically, I highly recommend this audiobook but maybe set the timer to finish before that last section.

Skip the introduction short episodes

skip the first 2 short episodes with the guys voice that's annoying but the rest with the woman is really good I was asleep quite quickly and shall listen again. There are other background noises available and after the guys introducing it it does go to a female voice

Highly recommend

This book has been really helpful with my insomnia. Lots of useful techniques to help with getting to sleep. Definitely recommend to anyone struggling with sleeping/anxiety.

No thanks

Wrong thing completely and this crap has made me anger that he can make this crap as if us adults don't know this already. The thing I was meant to download was a women speaking with sounds in the back ground talking and helping me to sleep

Wrong voice

Why is the voice not the same as the one in the sample? Im so disappointed :(
