“Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here.”–Inferno by Dante

On a dark New England night, Cassie Stevens startles awake–something’s in the room with her. Something she can’t see or hear, but feels in the icy air, and the weight of unseen eyes watching her from the darkness.

Ever since surviving a near-death experience in a crash, Cassie’s been haunted by this malevolent presence. She sees brief flashes of it from the corner of her eye and in the subtle stir of shadows in dark corners. It’s coming for her, invading her mind and thoughts with dark, grotesque horrors and madness; and tortured memories of a place of eternal damnation, where she spent twenty minutes during her death. And where It’s come to take her back.

When her doctors can’t help her, Cassie’s only hope lies in a young priest. But he’s battling his own demons. Haunted by nightmares and visions of the girlfriend he left when he joined the priesthood, he still sees and hears her after her death.

From the best-selling author of ‘The Necromancer,’ comes a terrifying new tale of supernatural horror. In the vein of ‘The Exorcist’ and ‘The Conjuring,’ journey into darkness, where evil hides in the periphery.
