24 hours in the mind of a 17 year old boy, on a French holiday campsite, with his family. Heatwave is nostalgic, awkward and uncomfortable, just as my own memories of that time in my life, but, of course, without the angst over the dead kid buried in the sand!

You will read it in a day and want to wash the sand off after.

A take of teenage awkwardness through the eyes of Leo an awkward teen. It certainly made me feel different about a 3 star campsite in France, though I have not been in August. The angst behind the veneer of happy holidays that the Mum and Dad have looked forward to for months. A thought provoking story.

Short and stark tale of awkward youth
