Summary

Jason Hayes loves working as a nurse and living in Celebration Township - or he did until Riayn Simmers showed up in town, and a secret from his past is threatened to be exposed.

Riayn Simmers is shocked to find her college love-and the man she had called a heathen-residing in the same town as her aunt. Now Riayn needs to decide if she can handle sticking around to run her aunt’s bakery, My Baked Buns.

Somehow Riayn and Jason must find a way to coexist in the small town, but what happens when Jason’s secret is exposed and he’s up to be auctioned off at the Valentine’s Day Party? Will the town believe, as Riayn once did, that Jason truly is a heathen, or will he finally win over her heart for good?

Heartfelt

I had tears in my eyes with this one. I could feel what the characters felt. I loved the book and how the performer did it. Stacy did a wonderful job writing this story. A must have book.

Heathens to Hearts

Years after a messy breakup in college, Jason and Riayn each find themselves in Celebration. Can they put the past behind them and take a second chance at love? Or, is Celebration too small of a town for both of them to stay in? I’m really enjoying The Celebration series, by Stacy Eaton. Her characters and their situations are true to life. Each story is stand alone, but the main characters from the prior stories take on secondary roles in the subsequent books. I love how it all fits together. Once again, Yvonne Cude has done an admirable job with the narration. Very entertaining. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

accept your past

This is book 3 in Eaton's Celebration series and what a fun way to celebrate Valentine's day than with a blast from your past. Riayn has come to town to help her aunt's bakery My Baked Buns (love this name) and Jason is a nurse whos lived in town for awhile now. These two have a past where their hearts were broken, but you can't escape your past - and Jason needs to learn that lesson in a big way. Will he be able to overcome his embarrassment, accept his past and win back the woman who holds his heart? Find out in this beautiful, fun, sweet romance. I really enjoyed the story line, the narration wasn't so great for me - a bit too high pitched and almost whiney sounding - still good, just not great (for me). Loved the life lessons and Riayn's aunt and bakery is amazing, loved the humor that was brought in to lighten the mood. Can't wait to see what holiday and couple will be next in Celebration Town! This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

The Awesomeness continues in Celebration Township!

I am loving this awesome series, the characters and storylines are amazing, each book features a different couple and holiday, they can be enjoyed on their own but I think it is best to enjoy them all and in order. This book picks up just before the previous book ended and is Jason Hayes and Riayn Simmers’ story. Riayn loves to bake and working in her aging Aunts bakery, “My Baked Buns” as a trial run to see if she would like to take over the business and settle in Celebration. She loves the town and it’s folk, she also loves putting her own spin on the menu adding some of her favorite sweet treats into the mix. The only problem she sees is having to live in the same small town as her ex. Jason moved to Celebration after he landed the job at the area hospital. He was surprised to see Riayn at the New Year’s eve party, it brought back memories for him, ones he wished he could forget. He and Riayn knew each other from college, actually they were once in love but the relationship ended abruptly and badly. While they still harbor feelings for each other can they get past what happened in the past, can they let it go. With meddling relatives and friends can these two get their second chance or is Celebration too small for both of them. I loved how everything plays out in their story, including the Valentine’s Day fundraiser auction, which was superbly done. Can’t help but fall in love with the characters in Celebration Township, PA. Stacy Eaton, thank you for another wonderful story, I enjoyed every word and minute of it, the laughs, the drama, the heartfelt moments and the sweet romance. Yvonne Cude is a talented narrator and voice artist. She was perfectly casted to portray these characters and bring them to life. She does a great job covering both male and female characters, changes roles flawlessly without missing a beat. She sets the perfect tone for the story, adds a slight dramatic flair which enhances an already great story another level. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen🎧

small town miscommunications part 3

If you like Hallmark movies like I do, you will like this series of books. All are individual stories (centered on holidays) but the characters carry over from book to book so you will get to find out what is happening to each character over the course of the year . There are cross references but Stacy tries to let you know what happened. So expect a lot of noisy neighbors, a little mystery, and a lot of miscommunication. This is the third in a series. The first is Tangled in Tinsel (not needed to read but introduces the town and the background players). So what happens to you think the love of your life betrays you and you meet him again years later. As in the first book, you switch back and forth on the narrative of both people and see their point of perspective of what is going on. As in the first book the narration was very good. For some small town love and hijinx, give this and the series a shot. I received this book for review and these are my honest thoughts on it.

The series gets better with each book!

I’m amazed that I like this book the best because I usually prefer a series to be about the original couple all the way through. This series introduces a new couple with each book and I love it! Although this one s my favorite so far, I will say I was quite irritated with the heroine most of the way through due to how judgmental she was of the H. Also, I would like to say I may have been a little judgmental of the narration in the previous books. I REALLY did not like it in book 2. This book it was better and I noticed that all the characters from previous books still had the same voices. As it turns out, I just really don’t like the voice of Linda! In the end, I loved the book and the narration was great. Can’t wait for the rest of the series!

second chances

Jason and Riayn shared a past - one that was ruined when she discovered a secret he kept from her for a year, right before he planned to confess all to her. They never expected to find themselves together again in the same small town of Celebration, nor did Jason think his hidden secrets come to light when he had so firmly left them in the past. I've loved each book in the celebration series and this book is no exception. It was a sweet second chance at love story. The Valentine's Day bachelor auction was definitely one of the highlights of the book. I can't wait to read the next story in this series. I received an advanced reader copy of this audiobook and voluntarily provided this honest review.
