Not what I expected but really enjoyed the story; my favourite in the series. I enjoyed reading about how uni is in America as im from the UK. The best part of the story for me is how Alex started growing as a person and in the end she really did get some well deserved revenge.

I had a great time reading this one. Packed full of tension and angst. The Bad boy x good girl dynamic was addictive. Lola King really knows how to write a morally black MMC. Xi is messed up, in the best way. He’s completely obsessed with Alex and will stop at nothing to make her his. I loved how he helped Alex and grow into herself and gain a bit of a backbone. I love Alex and I felt sorry for her for most of the book. I did find her slightly annoying to begin with but she really developed as a character and I loved her by the end of it, she was a total badass and had a crazy side that matched Xi’s to a T. These two together were so good, I really loved them both so much!
There were so many twists and turns and the little plot twist at the end left me completely mind blown!

Omg this book was one of the best I’ve read! The storyline is diverse and interesting, in no way predictable, I would never have guessed the direction it took. Totally immersive and it has left me wanting more! Loved it… thank you
