What a phenomenal story! I am obsessed.

Willa and Cade had me crying with laughter (mostly Willa… that woman’s texts!) and at times, just crying, and listening to the narrators bring these incredible characters to life made it even better. It’s a sure fact that Daddy Cade and Willa need to be heard aloud and the narrators were utter perfection! Listening to this beautiful story has been a pure gift!

This is a beautiful story of love, acceptance, challenge and rising above your past, and OH MY GOD I’m obsessed. And I would make my thoughts more clear but honestly, I think this story - and the swoon worthy narration that had me giggling like a school girl, blushing into my coffee on my morning commute and hitting that listen button to start all over as soon as it ended - has turned my brain into romantic mush… So instead, I’ll leave you with only one final thought:

Cade SAYING the word “woman”…. I melted.

I enjoyed reading this book on kindle. Listening to the audiobook was such a treat. Narration was brilliant with both narrators bringing the characters to life. Stephen Dexters voice had such a deep timbre it made my ear phones vibrate.

I knew this book was going to be phenomenal. Literally everything Elsie writes is. But I don't think I was prepared for just how much this book was going to consume me! Cade is freaking everything. If you like grumpy hero/sunshine heroine, read no more just go pick up this book. That should sell you on this book because it is by far one of the best, if not the best grumpy/sunshine I've ever read. I loved Willa instantly and I want to be her when I grow up. This book had me in stitches throughout and I'm not one to laugh out loud while reading a book. It also gave me happy tears, also another thing I don't normally have in real life, let alone while reading. This book was perfect, plain and simple. Elsie just keeps giving us the best books and I think it's easy to say we should all be honoured we get to read her books! Absolutely adored this book!

You are not ready for this book in audio! This book is outstanding and I just love it so much in audiobook. Stephen and Vanessa could not have been more perfect as Cade and Willa! Elsie wrote an amazing book and it shines even more while listening!
