Summary
Sogyal Rinpoche presents a radically new vision of living and dying. He shows how to go beyond our fear and denial of death to discover what it is in us that survives death and is changeless. Rinpoche explains simple yet powerful practices that listeners can use to transform their lives, prepare for death, and help the dying.
Critic reviews

Definitely interesting, just wish it was the entire book. Cannot seem to find the entire book in audible format though.

A constant source of inspiration
I’ve read this book many times and shall continue to do so for the remainder of this lifetime. Indeed, it’s a treasure chest of wisdom, and provided great inspiration for my first book, How To Die Happy.
Anyone likely to experience the phenomena of life and death really ought to read The Tibetan Book of Living & Dying.

A great book
Selen from the ancient perspective of the grejat säges and monke of Tibet and Nepal. This book removes our modern drama absolut Death and tells it like it is.

Christ it is John Cleese, how on earth did that come about. I'm trying to listen to the words and tones of the voice kept popping comedy imagery to mind. I kept think, that sounds just like John Cleese. Mr Cleese if you are reading this, please accept my apology for assuming you no deeper than humer, although your comedy was multi layered at times.
thank you for this and all your great work

Truly liberating from the anxiety of death
This book is the final piece of the Buddhism puzzle. Now it all makes sense, now it all adds up. It is liberating to know that the dying process is fully documented and can be navigated successfully if one has cultivated the right skills. I think this book requires a good understanding of Buddhist principles otherwise it might be a bit hard to follow.
