Summary

Imagine sitting in the lap of your favorite grandparent and learning the secrets to a magnificent, abundant life. Catherine Ponder writes in such a loving, gentle way. The secrets she reveals are not secrets at all but universal truths for health, love, success, and peace. As she explores these dynamic laws of prosperity she shares actual success stories to help those of us who are uncertain. There is no flowery prose here. Just plenty of practical advice for using Divine power to overcome difficulties and achieve happiness. Everyone can benefit from this book.

First published in 1962, and revised and updated by the author in 1985, The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity presents basic laws of prosperity in clear language for the modern reader.

From the Author:

"During my first year in the ministry, one of the most severe business recessions since WWII hit this country. Members of my congregation began asking for lectures on ways to survive this difficult period. It was then that these dynamic laws of prosperity began to take form. And, with breathtaking rapidity, these ideas worked - for all types of people!"

Yikes.

I ordered this book because I have read the hard copy a million times and consider it a classic. I wanted to listen to this on my way to work to start my day in a positive way. I just can't listen to it the way it is being read. It's a really long book and the reader approaches the content with the depth and expression more suited to a travel brochure. I wish it could be re recorded and given the attention to quality that it deserves.

Awesome right on time. I enjoyed this book.

the information was biblically sound. if you need deliverance or help with forgiveness and you feel that it is tied to an illness anything physically that is ailing you cancer mental issues problems on you job dealing with difficult people prosperity it gives you every type of way that you can image and think your way out of negative situations. I enjoyed this book and will apply as many topics and examples as I can I believe in time my thinking will be renewed. the Bible said be transformed by the renewing of your mind. It is worth reading and applying some of the principles. it will seem a little difficult in the beginning. but give it a try, I was ill 2 days ago with excruciating pain. applied the technique of imaging and positive affirmation. along with Prayer and I recovered hours later. but I remember that I was upset with a supervisor who did not give me an incentive award. I was angry and disappointed at him. I thought I deserved the award. I forgive him and I know God will provide. he can not stop my blessing and I take the control out of his hands and give it to God. I am blessed and highly favored. this book will help keep you on track of what you already know about the Word of God. in certain chapters it'll talk about Mariam and how she complained and got afflicted her with leprosy. after Moses prayed for her 7 days she was healed. anger complaining unforgiveness gotta let it go if you want to stay healthy and mentally available for God. this book will help you get on the right track.

Amazing book

This book came highly recommended by a friend. I study Abraham Hicks, Florence Scovel Shinn, Deepak Chopra, Tosha Silver, David Allen (and others). This book and author is one of the best I've encountered. It's practical, straightforward and heavy on ideas and ways to carry them out. Very powerful affirmations throughout this book now align the walls in my home and I have memorized several. Thank you Catherine for this wonderful work of love. I will read and study your work for years to come.

Surprises and Possibilities

Where does The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top 2 so far because it took me back to a time when my Life was magical, less predictable, and a cornerstone belief of mine was that of "Self-creation". Today, I have what many would consider to be a fantastic life. Yet for me, it's more like that film, Groundhog Day, where every day is like the one before. (And while on the surface that's often "OK", a Life with few, if any surprises ain't that grand.) I'd read this book in my early 20s, and was inspired to create the autonomy and solvency that I experience today. Listening again, reminded me that we only need to ask ourselves what it is we really want -- then set about creating it. That's so empowering. Ponder gives very clear, (and from my experience), accurate instructions on how to do just that. I found myself feeling hopeful again, and am using her teachings to manifest a more interesting Life. Finally, unlike other reviewers, I wasn't put off by the reader: The unpretentious, uplifting Message far outshone the messenger.

What other book might you compare The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity to and why?

Esther & Jerry Hicks, The Law of Attraction. Ponder emphasizes the same mind-set and focus that's required to ignore any & all well-meaning naysayers, while staying the course of personal creation.

What about Dixie Glassman’s performance did you like?

For me, it was all about the message. I actually didn't notice the reader -- so, she was just fine, I suppose.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity?

I have the innate ability to manifest a Life worth living -- a Life I will enjoy. There's lasting joy in Not being a victim of circumstances (or of others.) And although there will undoubtedly be challenges, they can be met, surmounted, and valuable lessons extracted.

Any additional comments?

Am so excited to find "old" books -- like this one -- just a credit away on Audible. Old doesn't always mean outdated, and it's great to finally do something "useful" in all the L.A. traffic!
