Although those with personality disorders are all different, it is common for a large part of society to have at least some kind of disorder. Sociopaths have a distinct disorder that makes them different from all the other ones. In this book, you will learn:

  • What sets sociopaths apart from others
  • Possible causes for sociopathy
  • The main differences between narcissists, borderliners, schizophrenics, and others with specific disorders
  • Which dangerous sociopaths made the world burn and destroyed the lives of those around them
  • How to handle sociopaths more effectively by protecting yourself from their sinister tactics
  • A variety of ways to treat sociopaths or minimize the symptoms

Curious yet? Then don't wait and start listening so you don't have to remain in the dark. Save yourself the misery of common mistakes and learn from what I have learned. I will see you in the first chapter!

Great Topic...

Some narcissists in your life are there for the long haul. You cant just decide that you have enough of them and just leave. This book has many topics and all the topics very well described. I must say that the Author has a very vast experience in these topics. This book is a must read for all. Things are going smoothly because this one taught me on how to counter manipulate sociopaths and control them instead of you being controlled. I am so grateful to have read this one and thankful enough to appreciate what others cannot.

Great! Informative and educational!

I have dealt with many narcissistic people as a nurse. What I did not realize that the book showed me, was that narcissistic members of society are everywhere! They are our neighbors, friends, politicians and even spouses! I decided to read this book because I believed that my ex husband was a narcissist. Listening this book proves that my suspicions proved to be true. I like how James Seals shows us what characteristics to look for in a person who may be narcissistic. This is a greatly intriguing and useful book.

Powerful story,amazing insight

This book was insightful for those with an interest in It more or less outlines a specific individuals' path with borderline personality disorder and is by no means a book that gives advice or suggestions to assist someone else suffering with this disorder. It did give me a feeling of 'I'm not alone in this'. If you want to learn more about Understanding Sociopaths and Personality Disorders, this is the book for you..

Honest introspection required.

Unfortunately, I found a bit of myself in this well written text and now have some tools to quell my narcissistic ways. But this book is really for anyone wanting to learn how to deal with attitudinal people, divas, people who are hard to get along with overall. As we all know, you can't change anyone but you can at least learn how to respond and handle those quirky people with Histrionic and Borderline Personality Disorders.

Enlightening

What did you love best about Sociopath?

Wish I would've listen this book before I spent so many years with a sociopath. It's a book EVERYONE should read.

Have you listened to any of Ramon Lopez’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes this is the first book i'm listening the performance Ramon Lopez and i really liked it..

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No

Any additional comments?

Somewhat interesting, but extremely repetitive text. I picked this book up because I was interested in a comparison of Reactive Attachment Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and sociopathy. It is glaringly obvious that the author has no experience whatsoever with attachment disorder, and didn't even bother to do any research. If you have a sociopath in your life, and you probably do, this is a must read. It will help you understand why they have such power over your conscience. It's because they do not have one. This book is freedom.

HELPFUL BOOK

Ramon Lopez’ does an excellent job narrating this book. He is articulate, pleasant and very easy to listen to. He relays the information in a casual, yet professional, manner.

Any additional comments?

Very educative indeed! Got lots of points to ponder for a day to day life in dealing various attitudes of people everyday. From Personality Disorders and Mental Illnesses and also for self awareness. Its worth to read because its very detail in explaining certain point that you don't have to missed or even being misinterpreted. I liked the way it was being written and good thing there's a test. This somehow surprise me. Not all like this book would even think of that style. Where it helps a lot to know more of yourself, and also for others.

Great Info - Very Enlightening

I bought this book to help my girlfriend deal with someone in her life who I thought may be a narcissist. It's still early times, but she has found some of the techniques in the book useful in dealing with that person. There are different sections for general strategies of dealing with someone who may be a narcissist, and sections specifically addressing narcissism at work and in your love life. Good info here.

Unique with Great Insights

I was initally quite curious about the title of this book, which is why I bought it. From the content of the book, I realise that the book provides great insights into the personality disorders, which allow understanding into the minds of sociopaths. Definitely, this book can serve as awareness, as it is rather hard to know sociopaths' thinking. Cool book which is easy to understand.

Sociopaths and Personality Disorders

Such a very excellent book to read! I really enjoyed this book. The terms psychopath and sociopath are thrown around so much in today's media and movies that it is difficult to determine what they mean, other than these terms are used to describe bad people. This books takes a good hard look at what these terms mean, and the author goes to great lengths to define them. From these peoples childhood and teen years, to what they are capable of as adults, even the neuroscience behind these terms, the author covers a lot of ground in a short space of time. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with an interest in mental health. Really worth reading!
