good book

This health book is very informative but I actually found it a little bit short.

Ayurvedic principals for Westerners

As someone who is interested in learning about Ayurveda--India's ancient system of food-body-seasonal wisdom--I was pleasantly surprised by how much of Ayurvedic terminology and principals were presented.

There is a focus on addressing common digestive problems, like IBS, as well as offering good overall suggestions on improving digestion. Since Deepak is an MD, and also brings India's ancient yogic wisdom into the picture, his perspective is both practical and insightful.
