hilarious
All the time I was listening to this all I could think of was Alan Partridge. The "facts" are not based in science but I did, actually find myself thinking about what I was eating and why.

Best Advice Ever
Why didnt I read this book years ago?

hypnosis audio they discuss is not part of this
very interesting but unfortunately the hypnosis audio that is discussed and a recommended part of the plan and that comes with the written book is not part of this

Logical, easy to follow and effective
I first listened to this book four days ago, but so far I feel excited and energised about the changes I am making in my life as a result of listening. I feel slimmer and my skin looks clearer. The audio format is ideal for this book, as I can listen again and again whilst doing other things and the information will hopefully stay fresh in my mind. Advertisers will do their best to chip away at my resolve. They will keep bombarding me wherever I go, to try and make me buy products which will make me fat and ill. My response is to try and reverse their brainwashing with this book, as often as I can.
Other reviewers who called this book a rant in favour of veganism are, in my opinion, blinkered. Just because you
have always lived your life a certain way does not make that the right way, especially if you are overweight and not happy about it. Some change will have to happen if we are to reverse the trend toward obesity caused by the western diet, and Allen Carr offers a very effective solution. He suggests cutting out meat and dairy for health reasons but if you are desperate to continue eating them then there is freedom to do that. The problem is people want to lose weight magically, whilst still continuing to do what they have always done. We know the way we eat is wrong because it's killing millions. This is a healthy alternative which, if you embrace it, will get you where you want to be and keep you there. Open your mind :-)

Be patient, openly listen and finish it!
Of course he’s trying to change your mindset - junk and process food is not as healthy as natural food so let him help you see it differently. It worked for me and makes me angry at how big food corporations hoodwink and manipulate us for profit at the cost of people’s health and wellbeing.
He helped me choose which camp I want to be in by making a lot of logical arguments for you to weigh choices up with.
Ps the hypnotherapy is at the end chapter 23. I listen to it every night as I go to sleep.
It’s about being open minded and you have to be willing to let go of learnt behaviours and habits that are likely harming you.

more of a miss this time.
I loved the other easy way books as they were good uses of changing the way you think about addiction.
this book tries to shoehorn overeating as an addiction (which it may be), with the cure being to change your idea of what your favourite foods are and eat them when you are hungry. The truth is overeating can be far more complex
I also disagree with the idea to ignore experts advice and our favourite foods are only our favourites because we are brainwashed to think that way.
the book spends too much time trying to convince the reader that meat and dairy are bad and the human body cant process ( whilst admitting it's ok to cook grains to help your body deal with those) them when the truth is humans have evolved to deal with meat and dairy and a quick Google of a couple of claims are found to be dubious.
the overall message is good but this solution is to simplistic.

I Have Escaped From The Junk Food Prison
Really uplifting and refreshing, cant wait to lose weight using this method. Ive just purcahsed losds of fruit and veg aswell as chosing not to eat meat at lunch today

Would you listen to Lose Weight Now again? Why?
I read this book a few years ago after reading and quitting with his Smoking book ..I lost weight and then as you do I slipped back to junk food..so was really happy to see this on audio...it works so I didn't hesitate to purchase and look forward to a slimmer healthier me
