Superb

Drew me in from the very beginning. From the soothing clear voice of the narrator to the exceptionally clear guidance from Jennifer, I cannot describe how well written this is. The fact that it's written by someone who has Aspergers means that you're not taking advice from someone who has just studied it, but someone who has LIVED it. She covered every single angle of social skills and every possible difficulty that may arise from trying to teach those skills to your child. Even the smallest detail was thought of. I have the attention span of a gnat but managed to listen to her every word. This book should not be limited to just parents or care givers, every single person should read this book in order to understand people with either condition. This should be at the very least, a standard read for EVERY SINGLE teacher in this world! I felt like giving a round of applause at the end of it. Thank you Jennifer!

improved my family.

This book helped me so much.

My 7 year old daughter has aspergers.

This book gave me the tools to help and understand her a whole lot more. So much of the book reminded me of my daughter.
My daughter is now taking part in household chores and happy with her achievements. She can tidy her room (better than she used to and with a whole lot of promoting) but understanding what I mean when I say tidy your room. We have a step by step guide for her that seems to have really helped her.

This book has helped improve my family and my relationship with my daughter.

Thank you!

Great Book

Brilliant book. First 2 chapters repetitive and don't give any information but bear with it as the book has many 'light bulb' moments. Useful for anyone working with or caring for people with ASD.

More of a story.

I was looking forward to this but couldn't fully focus because the narrator pronounces the letter S so high pitch it hurts my ears! Also it's more of a narrative story rather than an instruction.

Really informative with lots of guidance and easy listening.

She explains in such a non judgemental way and highlights difficulties that may arise and can be avoided. My son Was diagnosed late. I wish I had come across this book before. Easy listening. Lots of useful tips and she is kind to parents, teachers acknowledging that information has not been out there to help.

A must read or listening tool for all. A massive thank you for taking time and endurance to put this book together. I know I will listen to this more then once as you have given so much information. Bless you on your journey x
