    As above really. I learned quite a bit from Dr. Mercola via this book! I'd need to listen to it again to get some more of what I couldn't take in first time around.

    If you want a summary of information about the keto diet and how to implement it then this is a good book

    Nothing new is said or covered in my opinion if you follow podcasts and blogs on this topic

    But I still enjoyed it

    If you could sum up Fat for Fuel in three words, what would they be?

    Empowering dietary insights


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes, it's a fascinating listen. No doubt parts of it will be shown to be inaccurate as the volume of clinical and scientific study in this area expands over the coming decade. But my overriding impression is of a masterful synthesis of key concepts and new information available on the opportunity to improve health through nutrition. It is shocking and sobering to discover (through reading this and related titles over the past couple of years) how much the dogmatic dietary advice of the past four or five decades remains at issue at its very core. So it is with a sense of relief that you can have much of the confusion addressed by this reconceptualisation of new and old information. Thankyou to the author for the effort that has gone into making this available.

    I would love to have diagrams and checklists to follow. The book makes some strong arguments and I enjoyed all the references to other pieces of work from various authors, Drs and researchers.

    this is an excellent book for anyone who wants to live a healthy life. Dr Mercola always provides information that is relevant, accurate and supported by research. I did not expect anything less with this book.

    "retraining your body to burn and run on fat"

    one of the most important actions we can do for our health. as babies, we naturally burn fat as our primary source of fuel. as children we can switch in and put of ketosis within hours. as adults, after chronic consumption of sugar and carbs for decades following a standard american diet, we need to retrain our bodies to utilize fat for fuel to reduce almost every disease that plagues us today. this is my 4th book on the subject. my love handles and the little belly fat i had is almost completely gone. my fatty benign tumor on and in my spine is noticably small to the touch in just 4 weeks. my skeptical parents cant help but notice how fit i look.
