    "Part 3"

Even though these audio sessions are short they are definitely worth listening to. Everyone can benefit from learning tips on how to improve our communication and relationship skills. This session is about a loving MF committed couple who are deeply emotionally affected by their childhoods and have adapted a unique way to meet some of their emotional needs.

I absolutely loved this. So poetic and profound. About to buy her book. I found out about her from her Ted Talk and Dan Savages podcast, Savage Lovecast.

Esther does a beautiful job of being creative, providing an alternate narrative that actually is woven beautifully into the fullness of this couple.

    "Authentic, accessible, intimate"

This series is very affirming of my own experience - of the multiple layers and subconscious triggers and motivations and dysfunctions.

Being 'present' at these consultations - listening to Perel's skill and experience at work - is a privilege, and a valued opportunity to gain a little understanding of what might be going on inside myself.

    "Tres interessant!"

He can be a bad boy when he lets Jean Claude inhabit his body and mind. But will she accept that Jean Claude is actually part of her husband? This session was a revelation. It maid me take a step back and question what stories have I convinced my self of about what is possible for me? Thank you for bearing your souls so that I could learn from it Jean Claude and Jaqueline!

    "Role playing"

When member's of a couple can finish each other's sentences.... we learn this is a daunting hurdle toward seeing each other anew. Solution: role playing! After listening to this dramatic episode, I am convinced it can work.
    More,Dr. Perel, s'il vo plait.

    "I Enjoyed It!"

All that I have listened to so far (1-3) were very good, but this one was the best so far. Ms. Perel's creative role playing idea with this couple was priceless and, okay I admit it, very funny (to me). A good time, it seemed, was had by all (including me!). In addition to the humor factor, it was apparent that this couple came away from the session with a lot of insight into their situation. I am a single woman but still really enjoy listening to these sessions. I would recommend these short therapy sessions to: Anyone!

"Good but not what I was hoping for"
    Any additional comments?

Given the subject matter of this session, I had expectations, and especially hopes, which did not play out as I had wanted. I loved the couple's depths of self-awareness but the role playing made this feel much less relatable than previous episodes. I felt there was a lot to be said about overcoming their type of backgrounds which went unaddressed.

"I just felt uncomfortable listening to this episode"

Too much craziness, too much crying, too much in general. Not only I didn't enjoy this episode, I felt uncomfortable listening and eventually skipped the last 5 ministry because I just couldn't stand it any longer
