Helpful Book!!!

It would enable you to view your automatic thoughts from a different perspective, basically giving you more insight into them. The thing is, negative and uncomfortable situations aren't things we can simply walk away from-but knowing how to deal with them properly is a good start.

BEST AUDIO BOOK

I work in the mental health field and have had training on CBT and seen the results of this type of therapy. I found the book to be very easy to read and understandable. If a person cannot (or will not) attend therapy in person this seems like the next best thing, especially if the depression and/or anxiety is not already too debilitating. Some people will need the professional help. If someone you love would benefit from CBT then you should read this book as well. You will be better able to support this person if you understand the process, and you may find that you yourself will benefit from the skills learned. This is a workbook with room for you to enter information and thoughts. This will allow you to see growth and change on your journey to “getting your life back”. I really enjoyed this book but that might be because I already know that it can be a success story!

The suggestions given in this short book are simple and effective. Easy to use in daily life, each step prepares the listener for the steps ahead in order to beat anxiety and negative thought processes. Definitely a helpful tool in dealing with everyday anxiety.

BEST AUDIO BOOK
