    "THE AWESOME BOOK BY WILLIAMS..."

    I have been listening to this books on anxiety for over four years now and going to therapy, this is hands down the best book on anxiety I have listening. It is informative, practical, and interesting. If you listening to this book thoroughly and do the exercises, you will no doubt get a handle on your anxiety and panic attacks.

    "My Fears are so not intense anymore"

    It really works. You have to be serious about applying the techniques provided to feel the real gain and to get rid of anxiety and depression. A wonderful stranger/friend of mine taught me years ago that the only way out of the anxiety tunnel is to march right on through it. This book goes right along with that theory and forces you to face your fears and move past them.

    Fighting anxiety and fear has many ways to fight it and a number of them have been published in the past, and this book is presenting its version of the struggle by emphasizing the role of neuro science or the role made by the brain and this begins with your consciousness and willingness to fight anxiety, the book takes you through. The scientific explanations are easy to understand. There are very good suggestions in how to overcome anxiety and I like to thank the author for presenting such a great book.

    "fascinating book........."

    book teaches why after leading a normal life, all of a sudden, become illogical and behave in a way that is not considered normal. Even through this book, we'll know how different people become susceptible to different triggers and also what to be done to render those triggers of impotent. In case you're searching for a dynamic instrument or strategy for taking care of your on edge sentiments, I exceedingly recommend reading through all of the books and implements the tips and strategies of it.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

    This book provides a clear convincing rationale for anxiety treatment. Sharing the neurophysiology information offered in the book seems to give added motivation to my patients to turn towards their fears rather than avoiding them.

    This is a helpful book that approaches as any I have ever used when helping patients address anxiety. Multi-faceted, clear, step-by-step, with strategies for setbacks and for maintenance as well as recovery. Good to listen to anxiety and brain.

    The authors have highlighted his struggle with intense anxiety all of his young adult life. It would have been nice to listen accounts of his experiences in working through Week One challenge etc, that he describes.

    "Know how anxiety affects how your brain works"
    Would you consider the audio edition of Anxiety and the Brain to be better than the print version?

    I haven't gotten the print version but I found the audio version pretty good and informative.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    The audiobook is about an hour long so I did finish the whole thing in one workout session. There's a ton of valuable information in how the brain works and how anxiety pretty much affects how your mind works in negative ways.


    Any additional comments?

    My favorite part would have to be the healing process after experiencing a severe anxiety attack. It's the toughest part but it is possible. The problems and stresses associated with anxiety is no laughing matter and I'm glad the author addressed the significance of having to live thru anxiety and recover from all of its problems.

    GREAT!! I found this book very helpful. It's a basic introduction to the different types and causes of anxiety.This book will help how to defeat your tension and turn into a warrior of peace. In this book, the information is organized in a logical way that’s easy to access, read and understand. I would say that the author Michael Hatak did a great job for writing this well-written and very informative book!

    In this day and age, anxiety is one of our biggest problems in society. The author does an excellent job of explaining what anxiety really is and uses neuroscience to explain what is happening in the brain. Very well written with lots of useful information on how to deal with anxiety and overcome it.
