What I liked was that it gave actual, practical things to do, not just a bunch of theories. It has exercises to help you figure out who that "inner child" is for you and how to connect with that part of yourself. That sounded confusing to me at first, but it actually made sense when I tried some of them.

The book also spends a good amount of time on setting boundaries, which is something I really struggle with. It gives you ways to do it without feeling like a bad person, which is always my main hang-up.

yo this book hit so deep I had 2 pause n just sit with my feels 😩 it really helped me see how much stuff i been carryin from my past without even knowin.
