Story
Aidan Liam Cavanaugh is a pretentious name, not me at all, until you understand the meaning. I play defense for the Boston Brawlers. Aidan means "fiery", Liam means "protector", and isn't that what you want your defenseman to be? The fiery protector of your team? No wonder most women think I'm a clown and a player. I don't bother disabusing them of the notion, since I hardly want to get serious. Until Pink. Allie Pinkerton. Smart. Graceful. And a woman who wants nothing to do with the likes of me. She's my teammate's wife's friend, and one unlucky weekend, we get stuck dog-sitting.

Story
He has a body that makes women fall to their knees, a smile that promises forbidden pleasure—but only for one night. He makes no promises to the women who share his bed, except that they will leave it satiated and exhausted. His enemies underestimate him, which is their first mistake. Their second is turning their backs on the lethal danger harnessed inside him. He allows no one inside his head or his heart. Not his team members at Eidolon, not his enemies, not the willing women who warm his bed. Until her.

I’m a single female who’s tired of relationships ruining my life. However, there are times when a date would be helpful. If you’re a single man, preferably mid-20s to late-30s, and are in a similar situation, we might be a match. Candidate must be handsome, charming, and willing to pretend to have feelings for me (on a sliding scale, as the event requires). Ability to discuss a wide variety of topics is a plus. Must have your own transportation and a (legal) job. In exchange for your time, I will give you mine. If interested, please email me. Time is of the essence.

It's totally normal to fall in love with an audiobook narrator's voice, right? Right. Just ask Vera, who listens to "her" guy whenever and wherever she can: while driving, working, parenting, cooking, cleaning, showering...you name it. But now, she's bringing him into the bedroom. Summary
Davis is the first guy to catch my attention since...hell, I don’t even know.
Instantly, he made me think and feel things I forgot existed. It has been forever since I put my needs first, so I took the chance and let him light me up from the inside out.
Little did I know one night with him would ruin me for all others.
But then I got the dreaded call. I rushed out without a second glance, knowing I’d likely never see him again.
My son will always come first—always.
Imagine my surprise when Davis walks in and I find he’s the only one who can save my boy.
This cannot be happening—I guess it’s time to pull up my big girl panties and see what happens.

Sweet Romance!
This was my first Amanda Shelley's book. Davis and Teagan's story is cute, sweet, sexy, funny, and heartwarming. They are both great characters. Teagan's son Connor is cute. This is a beautiful story. Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro did a good job with the narration. Kelsey Navarro definitely is one of my favorite narrators. I enjoyed it.

Fun, witty, serendipitous romance
Another realistic romance from Amanda Shelley, infused with humour and a serendipitous attraction that turns into a real love.
Teagan and Davis happen to meet while on their separately imposed me-cation filled with activities. These two strangers keep bumping into one another and the attraction grows. So following serendipity they go to do things together in a whirlwind day and a steamy sensual night. This book is filled with smiles and laughter as Davis and Teagan go about checking things out on the me-cation list they seem to have in common.
The sensual night comes to an abrupt end while Davis is out getting them breakfast and Teagan gets a distressing call. Davis doesn’t know what happened and thought he shared something with Teagan yet she has disappeared.
Serendipity or fate pulls these two together again. When Davis is called in to assist and possibly operate on a young patient. Who turns out to be none other than Teagan’s son. When Teagan and Davis are again put together this time it’s in a professional setting and they don’t show their emotions from their romantic and sensual day they just had with one another. It’s all a slow burn from there!
Kelsey and Tim are both awesome in this audiobook. They were prefect for the characters they act. Tim’s voice is just the right sweetness for Davis. And he was great showing Davis’ feeling and emotions. Kelsey helps us grasp the fun spirited gal Teagan is, while she takes a chance to have some fun with one sexy stranger and also has the voice to showcase all of Teagan’s fears and doubts being a single mom.
Davis has an amazing family and I can’t wait to hear everyone’s own story about finding love. It was great hearing from Derek and Tessa too!

A Wonderfully Delightful Story & Listen🎧
Amanda Shelley pens another fabulously delightful “All-American Boy” standalone romance novel, a darling instant attraction, high heat romance. The story drew me in right from the start, grabbing my attention and captivating it the entire time. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are each to like and care about too. Davis Fallon, a doctor in Austin, is taking a much needed vacation, a me-cation, staying at a B & B in Deacon, Texas, a charming small town. Teagan Frost, a single mom, is also taking a much needed vacation, enjoying some me time while her four-year-old son visits his grandparents in Texas. A chance encounter puts these two on the same path, staying at the same B&B and having some site seeing plans in common. They enjoy some time together and the chemistry between them is sizzling, and it turns into a steamy night together. But an emergency with her son has her leaving in a hurry, Davis was out at the time so she did not have time to say goodbye and did not leave a note. Davis also gets called back to the hospital for an emergency, he does not know where Teagan went but left a note for her. He can not get her out of her mind and when he gets back to the hospital and meets his patient, it surprised him who else is there. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is a beautifully plotted story that has a perfect balance of drama, charm, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Amanda Shelley, thank you for another wonderfully entertaining and enjoyable story.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Amanda Shelley chose the perfect cast to bring her characters and story to life. The superbly talented Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro are amazing at what they do, they make a great team and their voices and performances complement each other. They have a complete understanding of the characters they portray, give each a voice that fits their character’s persona perfectly, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Kelsey Navarro nailed it as Teagan, capturing her every emotion and has you feeling every single one. Tim Paige does the same for Davis, playing his role with perfection and a whole lot of heart. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Fabulous!
From the first time they bump into each other, Teagan and Deacon have undeniable chemistry. Both enjoying a "me-cation", they decide to enjoy some time together resulting in a night of passion. Next thing Deacon knows, Teagan has fled. He thought they had something to build on, but with her gone, he may have guessed wrong. That is until he is called home for an emergency surgery, for none other than her four year old son. Now the fun really begins. Will these two find that there is more to their relationship? Was it just one night? Will they be able to wait until it's alright to be together? I love these characters! Teagan is an incredible woman. Successful, motivated, a wonderful mother and she has a wonderful support system. She truly deserves that me-cation! Deacon is sweet. I love his personality, the way his is with children and his devotion to Teagan. Plus his brothers are so much fun! They are hysterical. This is a fun, easy listen, one that will definitely warm the heart and make you smile.
Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro are an amazing team. I have listened to many of their narrations and this one is top of my list. Paige falls into character as Deacon, keeping him real. I find his voice is suited well for him, keeping him professional in one breath and romantic in the next. Navarro is spot on with Teagan. She keeps Teagan strong in times of distress and at the simultaneously keeps her vulnerable and loving. I enjoyed this book and their performance.

You will fall in love with Deacon and Teagan!
Sparks fly right from the moment Davis and Teagan meet. What an amazing story and a page turner! Both Davis and Teagan are on me-cations. Unbeknownst to them, they are staying at the same B&B. They first run into each other heading there from a run. Some banter is passed between the two and they decide to get a bite to eat where they are staying. What neither realizes is that they both want to go on a tour so they decide to go together. Their chemistry is unreal and well you’ll to see what happens next. Teagan unexpectedly has to leave the next morning without a word to Davis. When they run into each other again, it’s because of Teagan’s son getting hurt. While Davis is shocked, he now knows why Teagan left. How will Davis react? Can Teagan possibly let Davis in or will she just completely let him go? Of course Davis has to remember that since he is Teagan’s sons doctor, he can’t pursue her at the time. Will this stop him after he’s done treating her son or will they just go their separate ways? Can Teagan possibly let Davis in and tell him the story of her sons father? This book takes you on quite a journey of love, patience, and trying to find your forever.

Light, sweet and sexy story!
He Saved my Boy is a sexy love story on the lighter and sweeter side. Davis and Teagan meet while both are on solo vacations. Their instant explosive chemistry was addicting from the start. The story is about finding unexpected love and overcoming the obstacles that a forbidden storyline offers. Teagan, single mom to Connor is narrated by Kelsey Navarro. Her performance was excellent. Emotional and humorous and fun loving. Kelsey has perfect range and her tone is easy to listen to and fall in love with her character. Davis is an orthopedic surgeon. He is a busy, successful doctor. He is protective and nuturing towards Teagan and Connor as they come back into each others lives by chance. Tim's performance as Davis is steamy and sweet, with bits of humor and emotion packed in between. Both Tim and Kelsey have fantastic vocal chemistry. I love when these two pair together and always look forward to more by them.

Sweet romance with great chemistry.
I loved the start of the book and the back and forth between Teagan and Davis. The way they met and how they got to know each other drew me into their story. I loved the instant chemistry, relaxed joking, and lighthearted tone of the book and kinda held my breath wondering what the title could mean.
I was expecting a bigger dramatic moment based off the title and kept flipping pages wondering what else was going to happen to Teagan’s boy and how many tears I was going to shed. The story stayed relatively light and normal. I thought the romance was sweet and is a great easy read when you are in the mood for an evening in or have a drive ahead of you.
I would highly recommend the audio version! Tim and Kelsey did a great job narrating the story and infusing the characters with personality and helping me stay engaged.

what a wonderful, heartfelt story!
I received an audio copy of this book, and i truly loved the story. First, i live in Texas so the whole first half of this book was based in my home state.
Both Davis and Teagan are on a me-cation from life in a small town in, i think, east Texas (based on the swamp scenes!). Davis is instantly fascinated with Teagan and they have a short time together that is very meaningful.... until he returns to their B&B after a romantic night together to find her home. Before he can get to worried, he's called into the hospital for an emergency surgery. The surgery just happens to be Teagans 4 year old son.
Thankfully all is well, and they both end up back in their home city of Seattle. The story is super sweet, and a quick read/ listen. The narrators were amazing and really engaged me in the story!
I received an ALC for my honest review!

This was a new to me author and new to me narrators. I enjoyed the story as well as the performance. Davis, Teagan and Connor's story was hot, sweet and beautiful. This was a no drama story about two people meeting while on a solo vacation and getting to know one another. Davis and Teagan happen to be staying at the same B&B while on their vacations. They start to explore the town and do things that they don't normally have the time to do and just enjoy each other's company and their trip. Until Teagan gets a call that her son has been hurt and she leaves unexpectedly. Davis has no idea where she went or if he will even see her again.
When Davis gets a call about an emergency surgery he must do, he has to leave and isn't sure how to let Teagan know. Imagine their surprise when Davis's emergency just happens to be Teagan's son, Connor. Davis knows that there is something special with Teagan but he can't even think about pursuing anything while Connor is his patient. This gives these two time to talk and learn about each other until Connor is no longer under Davis's care.
I really enjoyed this story and the performances by Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro. Will definitely be listening to more of them as well as reading more of Amanda Shelley's work.

Cute and sexy!
Davis and Teagan end up on solo vacations and wind up running into each other. She takes a chance and asking him on a date and he accepts! They have amazing chemistry and the heat is there right away. They have a very sexy few days together and Teagan has to leave suddenly. What happens next is by chance. I absolutely loved this story. How they take their time and get to know each other while while he's her sons doctor.
The narrators, Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige did a great job with the characters!

Such a beautiful story!
Seeing the title of this book I was already prepared to bawl my eyes out. Luckily, it didn't go the way I thought it would, but Amanda Shelley still got some tears out of me.
Teagan and Davis had undeniable chemistry form their first meeting. Two adults on vacation with nothing ahead of them but time decide to have breakfast together. Breakfast leads to a series of events that leave them both feeling like they are living life for the first time in such a long time. After a beautiful night together, everything has shifted. Davis wakes up alone, wondering what could have made Teagan leave after the night they just shared together. When an unexpected call has Davis cutting his vacation short to head back to Austin for a patient, he decides the only thing he can do is let go of the beautiful woman that changed something in him after only one day. Seems fate had other ideas because even though Teagan left Davis unexpectedly, he hasn't seen the last of her.
Kelsey Navarro is a newish to me narrator and she did such a good job with Keagan. The only complaint I had is I would have liked a bit more emotion or feeling in the intimate scenes, but it wasn't enough to hinder the story. Tim Paige on the other hand is a narrator I have listened to several times over now and with every one of his books narrations I see what everyone keeps talking about. He does emotion so well that when Davis was tearing up, I was too. There is only one other narrator I can think of who has that type of pull over me.
This is my second book in the All American Boys series and I adore that the stories all seem to be very different. They aren't just copy and pasted from the previous stories and that is really refreshing. If you want a feel-good story about finding love in the most unexpected way, then dive right on in to He Saved My Boy.

Fate brought them here

Review: 4/5 ⭐️
Steam: 4/5 🔥
Audio: 4/5 🎧
#hesavedmyboy by @authoramandashelley is a new book in the #allamericanboyseries.
Davis and Teagan might come from different worlds but they both need time away from their everyday lives and a break for themselves. Fate had brought them together on their “mecation”. They spent some sizzling hot times together. But reality came back and broke them apart. She needed to get to her son, he needed to get to work as a doctor. But again, fate brought them together again back at the hospital. Can they let fate keep them together or was it too good to be true?
Overall I liked this book a lot. By the title, I thought there would be more drama than a broken bone, but I still enjoyed the stories and the characters. The stupid jokes they told each other made me laugh. @thevoiceoftimpaige and @kelseydnavarro did a really good job with narration and I’d definitely recommend it to audiobook lovers.
