I really enjoyed this. More meat to it than so many psychological thrillers I've read recently which are "scanty" to say the least.
The relationship between the two main characters touched me as I could really relate.
Totally believable too.

I don't normally listen to Psychological thrillers, I will from now on. This is an incredible novel. So well plotted and razor sharp characters. Laura, one of the main protagonist has her own secrets that she fears will be uncovered and her husband Kit has his own. Erin Kelly does not compromise on the characterisations and it was good to listen to a very rounded male character as well as strong female characters. I won't give any of the plot away just to say that there is a brilliant twist, one of many by the way, literally in the last line of the book.
Both Jonathan Broadbent and Helen Johns bring vividly to life their respective characters and through their performances all the supporting characters have voices of their own, even though the story is told only from kit and Laura's perspective. A brilliant listen, and I intend to seek out more of Erin Kelly's work.
