A year after the love of her life was murdered, Luna finds herself desperate to connect with him again. As a supernatural investigator, she knows how to connect with spirits. The only problem is they have to want to connect with her. Armed with paranormal detection tools, Luna rents the house where the murder took place and moves in, figuring that if anything can bring him closer to her, the scene of the crime is the best place to start.

While she struggles to connect with her past, Luna takes a job investigating the report of a haunting in an old house in Dearing, Georgia. With the help of a medium and a tarot card reader, Luna searches for answers surrounding the home’s paranormal activity. When the exasperated new homeowner sets a short deadline, Luna feels pressured to help the ghost move on. If she can’t, she fears the spirit could remain in unrest forever.

Loved the narration of Jeff Moon who brings the suspense and characters to your ears.

When a grieving son hires them to confirm that spirt in his house is his Donald his father’s. They soon realise that Donald did not leave this earth without help. He was pushed into the afterlife.
This book has great twists, I thought I had it sorted but another twist came along. Loved the characters and suspense.

An immersing, intriguing, and satisfyingly plotted story with a wonderful cast of characters, excellently narrated by Jeff Moon. I loved the paranormal elements, the tarot cards, and the ghosthunting, and am more than a little excited for the next book in the series!

A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.

Satisfyingly plotted.

This is a spin of from the : Taco Truck Mysteries. The story starts slow and builds up to an unexpected conclusion. I look forward to more books in this series. The narration is perfect.

I enjoyed this book.
We have already met the main characters in this book despite it being book one. That is because it's actually a spin off from the author's Taco Truck Murder Series. And what an delightful pair to pick from such a wide and quirky cast of characters, a ghost Hunter and a medium. I did like Luna and Jasper (in the previous meeting and in this one) and the way the different talents helped them to not only help a restless spirit but also solve a murder that nobody knew about was a delight. They are also very different from the Taco Truck's main characters, so you don't need to have read the author's other series to enjoy this one but it is a fun one you might like.
The mystery was interesting and had a number of twist as the story developed. It was clever the way the author had you thinking one thing and then switches it up as the killer is revealed. I never did come up with the killer. It's a good and fun start to a new series.

With the love of her life being murdered, Luna moves in to the house where it happened, to try and reconnect with him. Still needing to pay bills, she takes a job to help a man find out why his father is haunting him. Every morning the stairs creek and things get moved about in his office, the son needing to know why hires Luna to find out. Luna always did the ghost hunting with her boyfriend and so turns to Jasper and his girlfriend Piper for help. The ghost seems to be trying to tell them something and as Luna looks into the old man's last days, she brings to think maybe he didn't coming suicide and in fact had help. Can Luna and Jasper help the son find the answers he needs and his ghostly father?
I liked the narrator. He brings the story to life and is quite entertaining.
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This is a great start to a new spin off series from Dennis Shock. Luna and Jasper we met in the Tocco truck mysteries and here they form a partnership using their unusual talents. Plenty of twist and turns to keep you guessing until the final reveal. Jeff Moons narration is spot on. Highly Recommended.

Great!
