Summary

If you believe the news, today's America is plagued by an epidemic of violent hate crimes.

But is that really true?

In Hate Crime Hoax, professor Wilfred Reilly examines over 100 widely publicized incidents of so-called hate crimes that never actually happened. With a critical eye and attention to detail, Reilly debunks these fabricated incidents - many of them alleged to have happened on college campuses - and explores why so many Americans are driven to fake hate crimes. We're not experiencing an epidemic of hate crimes, Reilly concludes - but we might be experiencing an unprecedented epidemic of hate crime hoaxes.

Balanced perspective on hate crime hoaxes!

Author Wilfred Reilly is a young black college professor with both PhD and JD degrees. The large majority of social scientists are strong political leftists while Professor Reilly is center-right (much like Jordan Peterson). In Hate Crime Hoax he discusses 409 such hoaxes during a recent five year period. This is an important book that everyone should read or listen to. Narration is excellent.

Great information!

I heard about this book on a radio station I listen to. The author Mr. Reilly came on a couple of times to talk about this subject and others.

Just a wealth of information. My father is a great believer in all of these fake race hate hoax’s. I will be buying him a hard cover and sending it to him.

Thank you!

A very timely topic

Scholarly and well documented. This not going to be well received on campus. Reading this you’ll see that Jussie Smollett isn’t even near the first hoaxer. Read this and give it to some friends. Let’s get sane before the hoaxers cause more racial unrest.

Disturbing

I am half way through the book and I am appreciating the well documented and referenced work by the author. I would like to see a PDF with references for quickly searching them. The gullibility and manipulation of people is "disturbing". Unfortunately, there is a major bias in most reporting and articles. Sometimes it is subtle and occasionally overt and intentional. In medical articles they now have an assessment of bias, in the better peer reviewed journals. Something similar should occur in the news media. We have blurred the lines between news and entertainment/opinion.

the truth behind the stories<br />

as Paul Harvey has said" Now, the rest of the story" pretty eye opening how the left keeps everything under wraps and out of the news, I wish more people would read or listen and open their eyes to this.

Well researched and Enlightening.

I really enjoyed this book. Aside from being informative and filled with cold hard facts, I found myself chucking multiple times. I know the author must be frustrated, that this book was released right before the Jussie Smollett incident.
