What made the experience of listening to Hardwired the most enjoyable?

An amazing start to the series, I rarely write reviews but this book was brilliant. It's been quite a while since I became emotionally invested in the characters of a book but I certainly was with Blake and Erica. Sometimes erotic romance works of fiction can lack a story that is as interesting as the sex but this book has a brilliant story that is of equal stature to the sex. I can't recommend this highly enough.

This is  #1 of the Hacker series and is the nearest to Crossfire I've come to with plot, smex and drama. When I heard it was her debut, I was blown away!

I'm not sure I like Erica. She is feisty but has had a traumatic background so perhaps that's why she fights Blake all the way, but it does get infuriating. On the other hand his controlling ways would drive me nuts but then in a way she allowed it every time, so why not just give in.

The end was interesting so moving swiftly onto #2 to see where this now leads us.
I really like Blake but Gideon is still my #1 BBF!

I had seen this title on a couple of booktoks and thought I would give it ago. I wish I hadn’t have bothered as the narrators voice just grates on me. I had to stop listening after a couple of chapters
