About this listen

When an old crony of Van Shaw's late grandfather calls in a favour, he treks deep into the remote forest of the Olympic Mountains in search of a missing girl. GE Hamilton's books keep getting better. I'm starting book 3 in the Van series. I believe I'll be writing something similar when it's the 20th book in this series 🤞🤟😊

The story was not about the cold, or a hard winter. It was a very American tale about urban places that meant nothing to me, in language that was often opaque. No mystery or suspense. Not my cup of tea.
