This may be my fav book ever.

I'm left feeling as if I know myself and others so much better. Maybe the best explanation of brain chemicals and everything they cause, how it presents, what to do about it, etc.. A huge eye opener. Everyone should know this information and I plan to gift this book to all my fam and close friends, without a doubt, it can and will help them all. I normally don't even bother writing reviews. This is one I'll be listening to several more times just be sure to remember every detail. It kept me very interested the entire book. It's only a couple hours+, to the point, not too over the head or under. Perfect!

It’s not something we think about on a daily basis, but knowing how your own hormones and brain chemistry work is invaluable knowledge. Imagine if you knew exactly how to bring about a good mood just by changing a few key habits? That’s exactly what this book tells you to do.

Happiness whether you are a Buddhist monk or an av

This book is so EMPOWERING! The first section discusses how you have control over your hormones because your hormones are controlled by your pituitary gland, and your pituitary gland is influenced by your own thoughts. Knowing that you are in charge of your mood is half the battle.

Lots of good info overall

It’s a little dry at times, but the information is really important, and I can see where it would be especially interesting if you are facing a hormonal imbalance.
