As always a fantastic tale lots of twists and turns wirh interesting characters. Catherine Cookson always makes them come to life and they feel real 👍...a thoroughly good read would be great if it was made it into a dram🤞

Another great story by Catherine Cookson. Great string characters. The entire story contains sadness,humour and disasters as these are Cookson’s specialty. Highly recommend to others.

Hannah gives a new emphasis on the word 'mother'.
This story had me riveted
Hannah is cruel and domineering to a psychopathic degree
I loved the other characters
Only towards the end do we find out why Rosie came home.
And wow what a fallout
Recommend this book highly.
