Halloween Kills and so does Michael

I love the films, the books add a new dimension to them and I think that only adds to my love of the movie and the franchise itself.

Wow!

I, like many of us, have been waiting for this book for years. So it will probably come as little surprise that I finished it within hours of it coming out. I've just finished it now. Couldn't put it down… two of my favourite lines… "Michael Myers couldn't drive for shit" and "Michael Myers likes pizza?" It's called Halloween Kills for a reason and there were times I was nearly in tears, but I don't want to say anything so as not to spoil it for anyone but Michael certainly has leg room to move here. We also learn a lot more about 78, which I found really interesting. I wasn't sure how Bronson would do with this, given I've heard him before and haven't always been that impressed… But to be fair I have to say he did a really good job… Nice work! A really good read… fascinating to watch everyone get together into a hunting pack… "Evil dies tonight!" If only that were true… Great job Tim! When I read one of the characters was a bird whistler, I literally thought it was someone who made ladies whistle at first! To sum this book up simply, it’s easier to say who doesn’t die! Bring on Halloween ends! I love the very end where Michael Myers takes a phone call! It made me smile. Go Laurie!

Brilliant…Listen To 2018’s Halloween First !

I quite enjoyed listening to this audiobook and it carrying on from 2018’s Halloween. There is more deaths in this one than the 2018 one which is great in my opinion.

The story differs a little from the movie of the same name at parts due to this being written from a screenplay I’m sure I read.

The narration done for this was perfect no silly woman voices etc just perfect.

Highly recommend if you enjoy the Halloween movies or that kind of genre even true crime fans like myself would enjoy it just listen to the 2018 Halloween first as this starts off right at the end of the first.

The Shape Never Dies

This is one the best in the franchise and the genre, and the thrilling horrific tale is captured well in this book. Superb narration brings it home. Play the soundtrack in the background while you listen, and when you’re done you’re ready to watch the killer movie again! Love it!!!!

LAZY

Such LAZY writing... They changed so many scenes from the movie and some of the best scenes cut out completely! I was excited for the firefighter scene and instead I got "five minutes later the shape was the only one breathing.." REALLY??

Mostly Great

It feels like the author doesn't really understand Michael. He made a few changes that take away from the story. also, the lilting voice used for Michael's thoughts was wrong. Otherwise, this is a great adaptation of the movie.
