I love the films, the books add a new dimension to them and I think that only adds to my love of the movie and the franchise itself.

Im a huge Halloween fan. This Audio version does not disappoint. Equally as brutal and as gory as the film.

Tense and gripping.

I, like many of us have been waiting for this novel for years. So it will probably come as little surprise I finished it within hours of it coming out on the 19th of October which incidentally just happens to be Michael Myers’ 64th birthday! Co-incidence? Doubt it very much! Anyway onto the book itself, it was bloody, violent and brutal. Put simply, it’s easy to say who doesn’t die! There were times I was nearly in tears. Bring on Halloween ends yesterday! I really like the ending, where Michael takes a phone call. It’s obvious all throughout the book that Michael is, understandably perhaps, at the very least annoyed by what Laurie tried to do to him at the end of Halloween 2018! I saw the movie in the cinema with audio description a few days after reading this and absolutely loved that too! Really good musical score. I really liked the flashback to 1978, we learn a lot more about what happened that faithful night. When I heard Doyle is a bird whistler, I literally thought it was someone who made ladies whistle at first! Michael certainly has leg room to move here, and I loved watching Haddonfield get together into a hunting pack to hunt Myers down. “Evil dies tonight!” Problem is, they were deluded, and wrong. I really like Myers’ varied, different and violent ways of killing… well everybody and the way he staged some of his kills. He really is a darkly humoured killer! I wasn’t sure how Bronson would do with this, given I’ve heard him before and haven’t always been that impressed, but I have to be fair he did a pretty good job on this, accept he didn’t seem to want to yell much and there’s a lot of that in this book! I highly recommend Halloween2018 and this novel! Must read for all horror fans, and particularly fans of our friend Michael Myers!

Absolutely amazing!

Unstoppable Michael Myers, referred to here as The Shape, goes on another spree in His home town. This is better that the novel of the previous movie and nicely sets up the next.
