Yummy Awesomeness...

I researched the HCG diet long and hard and decided to have a consultation with a doctor in my area. I was already seeing him for B-12/MIC injections and I just trusted him. So he gave me a copy of the Pounds and Inches original protocol, during our consultation, and went home and studied it trying to decide if I could possibly eat that way for 6 weeks. Doubting myself, I joined some Fb groups for inspiration and advice. After lots of research, I decided to buy the "HCG Diet Cookbook: 2 Books in 1" book. I figured I would just listened it and found what the hype was about. After listening it and comparing it to the original protocol, it was a no-brainer. I'm a Scientist and married to a doctor so I researched a little more psychotically than the average person, I'm sure. I decided to take the book to my doctor and try to sell him on this protocol. I knew if I could get his buy-in, I would feel more comfortable. He read it and thought the same thing and agreed to let me be his first client doing the Cookbook protocol. He's loving my results. If you're between the original protocol and Cookbook, listen this audio book and you won't look back. I'm down 19 pounds in 22 days and I'm only halfway through the program!!

The HCG diet dictates a specific list of foods that can be consumed during the second phase of the plan. Keeping your refrigerator and pantry stocked with these whole foods is an easy way to make sure you’re cooking with the right ingredients!

You may want to purchase a kitchen scale, as the protein portions for the second phase are exactly 100 grams. Having a scale to check the portion size will be immensely helpful. Additionally, after you’ve finished the HCG protocol, kitchen scales are a fantastic tool for baking and for portion control, so consider it a long-term investment in your kitchen arsenal.

Vegetables can generally be eaten in any amount, depending on the strictness of the HCG diet protocols followed. Just be sure to pay attention to the calorie content of the vegetables.

Guidance for diet and for a better life

As a nurse practitioner who has always struggled with weight, I am always researching articles for the best weight loss plans. Year after year I have tried numerous over the counter supplements as well as weight loss plans, only to have all of my efforts fail. I did have some success on an expensive Hcg program, but due to the strict program limitations I could not last 2 weeks on it. After reviewing several Hcg plans I stumbled across JM Peddington's Diet Cookbook. I listened and studied the book for approximately 1 week. I do not know Mr. JM Peddington, but after examining his book and doing the program myself, I have come to the conclusion that he must be a genius. This program is awesome and has helped me tremendously! A variety of classic entrees and main courses that the whole family can enjoy. It gives you much more freedom than the traditional HCG diet which makes your goal achievable. After 3 weeks I am down 20 lbs and I'm satisfied after eating. The thought of quitting has not even crossed my mind. HCG Diet Cookbook: 2 Books in 1 An entire chapter on popular HCG-approved drinks and smoothies, I think I love you.

Perfect for Busy HCG Dieters

This is an astounding HCG eat less carbs cookbook top 50 heavenly formulas. This cookbook is exceptionally solid and delectable formulas. I adore this cook book. I exceedingly prescribe this book!
Delicious Chinese American recipes, I like that approved proteins, vegetables and fruits list are mentioned. A list of HCG diet-approved foods to always keep stocked in the pantry and refrigerator. Healthy and flavorful soups and salads to enjoy every meal.
This was added to my HCG diet books and is another example of how creative you can be on a very Strict diet. I would recommend this cookbook.

Winner winner!

I cracked the hcg code! I tried the more stringent protocol and lost weight but starved and was miserable to live with. JM Peddington's HCG 2 in 1 plan makes total scientific sense, updated w today's food science data. I'm losing rapidly, counting carbs and Cals and eating lots of protein. I'm full. I'm satisfied. I'm losing. if you're an "information" person who wants the program Scientifically explained you're in luck. He explains the old Vs new way of thinking and why it works. With freedom of food choices, its sustainable!

My diet Bible

This is a very useful diet book. Inside this book you will find many diet recipes which will help you to lose your weight and lead a healthy life. I hope this book is able to help you very much. The recipes are quick, easy, and delicious. This is necessary for the HCG diet as it helps you stick the diet. Who wants to each grilled chicken and salad everyday, I sure don't. I live to eat and I need to enjoy my meals in order to stick to a diet.

This book easily breaks down the ins and outs of HCG dieting! Love that someone has taken the time to put more research into the diet no fine tune it to today's knowledge bout the human body. Don't go on this diet before you listen this audio cook book!

There Really is a First Time for Everything

This book is fantastic. I've heard a lot about the hcg diet recently but had been reluctant to try the original version which only allowed 500 calories a day. A complete guide to which foods you can eat on the HCG diet and which foods to avoid. After hearing of 2 in 1 and listening this audio book I am more pumped than ever to tackle my weight loss goals before my wedding next June. This book was packed with information not only about hcg but about nutrition and weight loss in general. I highly recommend!

HCG MADE EASY

I have tried other HCG diets and this is by far my favorite!! So much more variety! You can live a busy life and live by this lifestyle change too. Before I struggled with too little of a menu. Now I can enjoy many different vegetables and it makes a big difference. Buy it and try it.

Healthy beef and broccoli

In a medium bowl, combine thinly sliced steak with arrowroot (or cornstarch) and a pinch of pepper. Toss to coat well. Heat a drizzle of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Working in batches, add a few slices of steak (not touching each other) to the pan. Cook 60-90 seconds per side, then transfer to a clean plate or bowl. Repeat with remaining steak, adding more oil to the pan as needed. When all the steak is cooked, add broccoli to the pan (again, if the pan is a bit dry, add a bit more oil). Cook 4-5 minutes, or until crisp-tender (cook longer if you like your broccoli softer). While the broccoli is cooking, mix up your sauce by combining the coconut aminos/tamari, garlic, ginger, and pepper. When broccoli is cooked through, transfer to plate/bowl with the steak. Pour sauce into the pan and stir to scrape up any browned bits. Return cooked broccoli and steak to the pan and stir to coat. The sauce should naturally thicken as it heats through and bubbles for a few minutes (3-5 minutes). If sauce is too thick, add a bit of water (or more coconut aminos/tamari). Serve warm!

Better health and Weightloss

Note that it’s absolutely possible to carry out the HCG diet while being a vegetarian or vegan. You can get all required nutrients from a plantbased diet. Feel free to substitute any meat specified in the recipes with an equal amount oftofu, tempeh, or pulses, if you feel comfortable doing so. Eggs and cottage cheese have also been used successfully as alternatives. Plant-based protein shakes made with water are also an excellent substitute for meat.

The third and possibly fourth phases involve ending the HCG hormone supplements and slowly introducing more calories into your diet. This phase is important in acclimating to a normal diet once again. By the end, the dieter’s metabolism should be altered as to maintain weight loss for the long term.

The traditional diet limits you to 500 calories a day, although many modern versions allow many more calories than that. Whichever form of the diet you choose is up to you. We’ll just provide you with the recipes to help you stick with your plan!

Delicious - Creative- Cookbook

I've always been curious how the HCG program works. Mr. JM Peddington's book has answered those questions. The original HCG diet seems very limiting and therefore would be more difficult to stay on the program. But the revised version this book details with additional high protein foods and small snacks make HGC 2 in 1 cookbook more realistic and weight loss more obtainable. Thanks for breaking down the entire program and how it works! A complete guide to which foods you can eat on the HCG diet and which foods to avoid.

It has added 50 HCG diet recipes for weight loss and healthy living and delicious Chinese-American HCG diet recipes also. All yummy and also tasty. If you need healthy and good food content book so that's the perfect guidebook for you. Weight loss programs here. It has top 50 HCG diet recipes content to help us. I want to suggest that. Love this book and the HCG 2in1 program!!!

This book is very informative with quick and satisfying vegetable dishes that will keep you nourished and full. I bought the audible version of HCG Diet Cookbook: 2 Books in 1 and was prepared to read a boring 'medical' book about my health. I was shocked at how engaging, informative, and easy to understand this book was. I have listened the entire book in one afternoon and felt many 'A-HA' moments as I listen.
I HIGHLY recommend that everyone read this. It is well worth the time and will really help you!!! Chapters on meals, including soups, salads, meats, and snacks and much more.

Follow simple diet! Be energetic

I am continuing my education full time and working full time so I have gained so much weight. I am actually on this diet through my doctor because I was getting desperate. I was going to be over 300lbs by the end of the year if I didn't do something. I started 17 days ago and I am 15lbs lighter- with no exercise. The 1st week is detoxing from all the sugar and carbs so you will feel like crap for 3-5 days, and the hormones made my skin breakout. But after a week, my skin cleared up, I was in a lot less pain, and I had more energy than before. If you can suffer through the 1st week, you won't be sorry.

Science-based and practical

This cook book is great! I read it in a couple hours and followed it to a T. Keep it in my purse for shopping purposes. I have tried the protocol the old way and caved in every single time. Not with the HCG 2 in 1 it is way easier to stay on track. An entire chapter on popular HCG-approved drinks and smoothies. Highly recommend!

General tso’s cauliflower

General Tso’s Sauce: Heat the sesame oil in a small saucepan over medium low heat. Add the ginger and garlic and stir fry for a minute or two. Add remaining ingredients and whisk to combine. Bring to a low boil; simmer for another 20-30 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Add more sweetness, citrus, etc. to your taste.

Cauliflower Batter: Whisk all the batter ingredients until a loose batter forms. The batter should be thick enough to cling to the cauliflower and cover it but stay loose enough to easily drip off (adjust thickness with water).

Cauliflower Frying: Pour oil into a heavy bottomed skillet to make it deep enough so it will cover the cauliflower about halfway (probably ends up being a few cups). Heat the oil over medium heat. Drop a small bit of batter in the oil to test it – when it rises to the top and bubbles, the oil is ready. Dip cauliflower florets in the batter and let the excess drip off before gently setting in the oil. Fry for a few minutes on each side, then flip, repeating sides several times if necessary until you get a nice golden brown fried exterior. The additional frying time helps make it a little crunchier, which I very much like. Remove and set on a cooling rack with paper towels underneath (again, rather than putting it all on a plate or bowl with paper towels, this keeps it crispy vs. soggy).

Serving: Toss the fried cauliflower with the sauce (enough just to cover) and sprinkle with scallions and sesame seeds for serving. Serve with rice.

Real pain relief

Loved HCG 2 in 1 cookbook. It is natural, it works, and I was not hungry on it. Don't criticize this if you haven't tried it - it's a healthy way to lose and you will lose the weight in all the right places. A general overview of the HCG diet plan, its research-based history, and how the diet can help you lose weight quickly.

I'm buying more today for friends & family

I agree with everything JM Peddington wrote. Have done old and new HcG diets. 2 in 1 is SO much easier because there's more variety. I lost 11 lbs. in the first 12 days. I can't lose weight any other way. Wish I could get back all the $ I spent for Weight Watchers. Recipes for popular sauces and dressings. Dessert recipes, including many that feature chocolate. Always love the direction of JM Peddington. Many thanks.

Amazed by HCG 2in1

I’ve done original protocol countless times. I felt like I was deprived, but I did it as a quick fix and it worked well. With HCG 2 in 1, you don’t feel deprived. Cravings dissipate, you have ENERGY, and it’s much easier to keep off! I will do HCG for life. Even though I’m at my goal weight It’s kind of like a cleanse for me.
