Interesting ideas but some repetitive

Examples are good but in some instances too repetitive and examples/ideas are rehashed. Too lengthy prose.

Dated

Had to chuckle when it talked about Lotus Notes, when the book mentioned ‘recent’ in relation to 1995 I contacted audible for a refund. Good for those interested in development perhaps but things have come a long way since some of these articles were written. Narrator was also a little ‘flat’

Insightful and helpful

My first audible. Great for the concepts, but difficult to follow without diagrams. Next time I would also purchase the book for reference.

Repetitive and dated

Some of the books covered, and their ideas are good. But most of content is simplistic, based on traditional large corporations. A lot of it is rooted in 80s and 90s business practices. Too much focus on execution instead of pure strategy design

Enough Data to be interesting

Accompanied by a reference guide.

Pretty academic but awesome kernels scattered throughout. Activity system maps are fire!

good content, but oddly repetitive at times

Quality articles, although somewhat dated. My main complaint is that the articles were oddly repetitive at times. I couldn't tell if this was the way they were written or there were issues with the audiobook itself. This mildly detracted from the overall experience.

Good but essentially a textbook

This book is very informative and covers a lot of the same material we covered during my time in business school. As a result it’s like a textbook and is a very dry/stiff listen.

Best Book on Strategy

This is the best book on strategy available. I wouldn’t waste time reading other books. Can’t wait to read the other 10 Must Reads.
