absolutely amazing book you can really get into it .the next book is great to. defiantly worth a listen.

Great to get the background behind Buck becoming a Spartan. The story itself is pretty entertaining, I normally listen to a book before I fall asleep, I found myself staying up to listen.

What really does the book justice is Scott Brick's narration. One of the most iconic voices in the Halo universe is Nathan Fillion's Buck character and Scott Brick narrates the character very well without trying to impersonate the actor himself.

if you like halo, especially if you liked halo odst you will love this book, great view of the world from tbere point of view and you find oit what happened to alpha 9 before and after the game, definitely one i shall listen to again
