Summary

Clarity comes with decisions and answers. Find all that you need to know in this book written for the absolute beginner. There are advanced concepts, also, so you will develop more than the average learner. You will also understand why different music bands sound so different from each other.

Music is an unending field; the journey of discovery begins now. Come join the excitement, and start learning the new language of music.

Do you find it difficult to learn guitar chords?

Would you like an efficient method that helps you play, combine, and memorize chords to make music with the guitar?

Do you want to be able to strum rhythms correctly and confidently?

Do you want to train yourself until you have perfect practice habits that will last a lifetime?

Then this book is for you. You will learn to strum, fret, and combine the important chords in music correctly to easily and quickly become a better musician.

Why should I learn the chords?

I have encountered lots of professional guitarists throughout my years of experience who are unable to name the chords they recently played. Many guitar players can make chords, but don’t even know the chords they are actually holding down! Learning guitar theory without knowing the names of the notes and chords is similar to learning complicated arithmetic equations without learning numbers first. This book will help you and prevent you from becoming like one of those guitarists. The following are reasons why you need to purchase this book and learn the chords:

  • It helps you to understand the arrangement of the notes.
  • It teaches your mind to create a mind map which helps you navigate the fretboard.
  • It teaches you to bring out the ideas you have in your head and helps you put them down on paper or even to show to other musicians.
  • It helps you make several visual references, which makes the fretboard less overwhelming.
  • It teaches you how to play all the important chords on the guitar.
  • It helps you understand the way the chords work together.
  • It teaches you to master strumming as well as to build chord progressions.
  • It makes it easier for you to understand chord construction and chord theory.
  • It also trains you to instantly apply as well as make use of chords to compose songs.

Although several books teach the same things, this book is unique in various ways:

  • It teaches memory techniques that are one of a kind and cannot be found in any other book.
  • It will help you get results much faster.

I believe that these are reasons enough to make you grab this book. Do not hesitate to do so.

Great for beginners

This is an excellent primer, especially for beginners. It's aimed at people who have never touched a guitar before. People with greater experience can skip the first portion, which outlines the various parts of a guitar. The author provides a methodical and easy explanation of how to play the guitar. The book includes a couple of dozen popular tunes to practice, which is excellent. If you're new to music or the guitar, this book is a great place to start. It's something I'd recommend.

Great reference

This is an excellent instructional book that covers all you need to know about playing the guitar. I think more examples with sheet chords, rather than simply TABS, would have been ideal, but other than that, it's wonderful; the key significant chords are listed on the last page. This is the book I use to teach my pupils a basic course.

Liked it

This audiobook will give you a new viewpoint on learning the guitar. Some may believe that it was only fundamental and that it would be of no benefit to them, but this is untrue.

Excellent place to get you started

I bought this book as a complete novice, despite the fact that I was looking for a book with a little more meat on the bones in terms of theory and context. I'm pleased I did since it really does teach you how to play simple tunes and progressions quickly and easily.

If you practice frequently, you'll be able to breeze through this book in no time. Make no mistake: this is a really bare-bones book. It may definitely leave you wanting a little more in certain places, as well as some background, but it does a great job of preparing you to go on to slightly more complex topics.

We all have to begin somewhere, and I felt this to be an excellent place to begin. It comes highly recommended.

Good guidebook for especially for novices

This is a good guidebook, especially for novices. It's intended for those who have never picked up a guitar before. People with more experience may opt to skip the first section, which covers the pieces of a guitar. The author explains how to play the guitar in a systematic and straightforward manner. There are a couple of dozen popular songs to practice within the book, which is helpful. This book is a wonderful place to start if you're new to music or guitar. I'd suggest it.

Great buy

It's incredible to learn to play the guitar on your own. It's just what I was searching for, and the instructions are simple enough for me to follow. Being able to read music is extremely advantageous to me because I play the piano and organ. I'm excited to advance to the intermediate level of Guitar playing.

Lot of great tips and tricks

If you're new to guitar and don't know how to read music, this audiobook is for you. Using tablature instead of traditional music theory is simple and straightforward, and it will provide you with a solid basis for learning to read music and music theory later on. By spending some time practicing the exercises, I discovered that there are a lot of music sheet books with tab measurements that can help you go beyond this book and play a range of various styles of music. I also discovered that by spending some time performing the exercises, you can move beyond this book and play a variety of various styles of music.
