I needed to hear them

I've struggled with anxiety for two decades and had all kinds of treatments, counseling and therapy, and yet there are things in this book I've never realized or been told, and I needed to hear them. Thank you " Meditation " for this wonderful book

The metaphors in this book are used so well

The metaphors in this book are used so well, some are the obvious points we know and need to be reminded me from time to time if you've read books of similar nature, but its not just noticing the thorns, and realizing they are controlling you and you are not actually controlling them, but instead freeing yourself from these thorns was what i found most inspiring

I could find peace through meditation.

I always thought one had to do meditation a certain way, that only monks could attain. After listening to this book, I discovered even I could find peace through meditation.

This is a great book

This is a great book . It has many meditations and also narrative. There is no music with it, which suits the meditation well in this case. The narrative is good, not droning, rather engaging. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a Buddhist loving-kindness-type of meditation.

The guided meditations are very positive and helpful. I listen to them as I fall asleep each night. They reduce my worry and anxiety about my health problems. I have not been healed completely, but I think meditation helps my health and keeps my condition from progressing.

I was a little surprised

I was a little surprised by how good this book is. The author teaches the reader how to use mindfulness/meditation in everyday life. This includes practice in everyday settings. I have used several of these suggestions to bring my mind back to the present and to slow my brain to the speed of life. I highly recommend this book to anyone needing to be more present

.Awesome book

.Awesome book. I've been going through the meditations and can feel a difference throughout a stressful day. Seriously - I'm more aware of surroundings and I'm more curious. This is such an important book

This is such an important book. Everyone in the world should listen it. The concepts in this book teach people how to be in charge of their perceptions and reactions, how to live IN THE MOMENT, instead of dwelling on the past or the future. I love to listen

I love listen to her podcasts weekly. The meditations are beautiful, but when this is in iTunes, it's impossible to put it into playlists, which, since it's a series of guided meditations, was how I planned to listen to it. So disappointing...I will likely be returning it

I have been wanting to mediate and be more mindful

I have been wanting to mediate and be more mindful for a long time. Recuperating from surgery and finding this book at the same time made it all possible. The book is explain so you can really understand the benefits. It guides you with practical methods of incorporating mindfulness in your day. I loved that I had the meditations downloaded and that I had an easy access to them. I also found that the different ways to meditate, such as through sights, sound, movement, very helpful tools to choose from when my mood was coming from different places.
