Gina Rogers is perfect narrator for this book. I thought she bought the characters to life.

Ok this book got me , and the ending hmm completely sucker punched me...

We find Jill who is a strong idependant woman working the front desk of a motel. Where famous rock star James comes in for change for cigarettes. That is the start of many more nights. James asks her to come on tour with him and Jill says yes. At first it was going to be for a few days and than she decided she needs him in her life.
Going on tour with James Jill finds her world changes. Jill knew life on the road with James and his band would not be easy and would be filled with many ups and downs. At times James really acted like a rock star and was horrible towards her but she still loved him.

it isn't the typical romance. I like the heroine is a writer, however she has had destructive behaviors in the beginning. I got this book from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.

A roller coaster ride of emotions. I likes that this story are from Jill’s pov who are the girlfriend/wife and not from the Rockstars pov.
All the up and downs with a relationship.

The narrator Gina Rogers did a good job, I hope she does the second book as well.

New author Gail Ward Olmsted, looking forward to you other books.

This was an easy listen with enough ups and downs to make you wonder what next. Very unexpected ending. I really liked following Jill and James through their rollercoaster life.
