Funny book for kids

Even though I, admittedly, do not find the storyline that captivating my five year old absolutely loves it. The one about the snake in school is his personal favourite and he asks to listen to it time after time...

A tale of two viewpoints

In this sweet easy read it demonstrates how you can empathise with two contrasting viewpoints. Poor Grumpy Grandad loves his Greenhouse and nurtures his tomatoes- patiently longing for the day when they are ready to eat. Whereas greedy Maurice the Mole just wants to eat all of the tomatoes every day, getting bigger and bigger. There are understandably going to be repercussions!?

We like how Ann Twigg narrates these stories and my kids always call out the answer to her rhetorical question, showing that she knows her audience and their understanding well.

Funny Mole

My daughter (aged 6) loved this story and found the mole very funny with his big tummy. It was a lovely story and my daughter said she would listen to it again and again, so a big thumbs up from us. We listened to this on 1.5 as 1 just seems too slow for us. Looking forward to hearing more from this series.
