Summary

Aboard a freighter bound for Baltimore harbor, an Iranian terrorist prepares to unleash an unimaginable horror upon the United States. The "Wrath" is an undead plague - an infection that consumes its victims with a maddening rage and turns them into mindless bloodthirsty killers.

Jack Cutter is just an ordinary guy dealing with a dreadful guilt when the virus tears through his home town. Before it's too late, Cutter will have to find a way to survive, and find a reason to fight: his redemption.

Well written

I love listening to zombie books just going about daily tasks. But this one is so well written at times I’ve just had to stand there and listen. The pacing is epic! I recommend <3

Zombie-tastic

I read this a couple of years ago along with a load of other post apocalyptic books, I remember it being a good read back them. so I've decided to revisit this and the others on audiobook, great for in the car.

Don't expect any complicated plot or characters, this is short and sweet with plenty of action, if anything it's too short! there are some cheesy bits but overall it does the job and would make a good film.

.......Just remember to have your end of the world plan when the time comes........ ;-)

Stereotyped

Decent is how I would describe this in all honesty it's sequel die trying is amazing a good simple zombie story but this just didn't live up to it the main characters seemed unlikeable they weren't bad mortally I'd be fine with that they were all generic cut outs the most interesting were the survivalist the main character had some backstory but was still very generic it wasn't nails on a chalkboard listen but it didn't make me bite those nails so all in all just average

The same old zombie theme

What would have made Ground Zero better?

If it had any sub plot or even any plot. It was just a series of gory descriptions. I feel just about anybody could have written the same or better book than that.

What will your next listen be?

Not sure

How could the performance have been better?

There was nothing to work with

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

None

Any additional comments?

I quite enjoy end of the world type books but this had nothing to hold the reader.
