Q. Harveson
Lucius Grim had only one job to do: Collect magical artifacts and turn them over to the organization that wrote his paycheck. He never asked what happened to the artifacts after he turned them in and he never cared. To him, they represented chaos and above all, The Grim Collector sought order.
Every monster has a story. What created this meticulous killing machine?
Ruthless with a talent for violence, Lucius Grim had learned early to rely on no one but himself. A shadow organization has used his talents for their purposes, but can the shadows actually hold him? Will anyone be able to stop him if he seeks those who have done him wrong?
Grim is a story that lives up to it's name.

A magical artifact collector with an assassins mindset, Jason Bourne capabilities and the perseverance of The Terminator. Grim is a complicated and calculated character, feared by most but no-one really knows what makes him tick. One thing's for sure, he show's no mercy and no-one thinks he possesses a soul. However, someone had the gall to betray him, now he's out for revenge and you better not get in his way.
I've read a couple of Harveson's books, The Avalon's Protocol and Floyd. All three books had interconnected stories. It was when I read Floyd that Grim's character really stood out and I immediately wanted to know his story and how he came to be the man he is today. So I was happy to see the release of this book. I'm sure Grim will be popping up throughout the series, but I hope we see more than one book dedicated to Grim in the future as I really enjoyed this unusual character.
