Beautiful book, wonderful writer

The author intended to write as close to the original Greek language as possible, and it shows. It is by turns clear, funny and engaging. I have used this very successfully with gifted and talented students, and highly recommend it.

Most Informative

Good review of the centuries-old legacy of Greek Mythology. Nothing fancies - a basic rundown. Recognize that there are variations to many of the myths. If you're already familiar, expect a few twists.

Great for good night stories!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. While it doesn't go into very much detail, the stories are well-written and entertaining. Each story is written so as to help keep things in some sort of chronological order.

keeps your attention

I found him so entertaining. The stories are simple and straight to the point without being childish. The only thing I would say is that these are the basic stories, so if you know the gist of most of these stories.

It was definitely an awesome version of explaining the Greek Gods, Goddesses, Heroes, and Monsters. But I did enjoy the stories if the ones they did go into.
