Summary

Going Rogue is the follow-up to the hugely successful thriller, Going Dark: the book that introduced the world to Tom Novak.

Tom Novak is back. When a spate of deadly terrorist attacks hit the streets of London, Tom finds himself thrust into the middle of a fight for the survival of all he holds dear. When the attackers hit closer to home than he could ever imagine, Tom is forced to make a choice between his duty or his conscience. In doing so, he enters a series of increasingly dangerous worlds, in the darkest corners of humanity. Can Tom and his colleagues get to the bottom of a plot which threatens the very fabric of society? Will they stop the terrorists before it’s too late? When faced with the ultimate choice, which way will Tom go?

Great

Loved this book, I think it was actually better than book 1. Much better narrator this time too.

Well worth a listen

Mike Rogers does a good job of narrating as there is so many changes of voices and accents which helps to keep the book and its twists and turns flowing quite well. I enjoyed the storyline.

An excellent thriller.

From the first page to the last I was gripped. It is technically accurate and plausible, which is something not every writer can achieve. The narrator has an excellent range of voices and really brings the story to life. The author maintains the tension throughout right up to the final page. The ending alludes to a third instalment.. Bring it on!!

Thrilling but grounded

Probably not two words often used in the same sentence but in my opinion and it is just that my opinion this book manages both in style, I bought Going Dark but the narration was so bad I only got 4 chapters in and had to stop so it was a real pleasure to hear Mike Rogers being this excellent tale to life, I will be starting Going Back straight away

Powerful stuff

I really enjoyed this one and thought the narrator did an excellent job with a really wide range of voices. The pace and tone were spot on. I look forward to more in the Tom Novak series!
