it dragged on to long! I nearly skipped a few chapters to find out why she left 🤯

I've read these a little out of order, but even knowing part of the story in advance did not take away from this book. a heart reaching love story that had me utterly invested in the characters.

Well written but horrible plot. Narrators did an amazing job.

It started off good but then it started turning messed up. I'm left feeling horrible by the end.

As soon as he restarted his romance with his ex, I just kept feeling sick. Like I was the one who was being cheated on, betrayed and thrown away while I had front row seats to all the moans. I was just waiting for it to be over because I want to finish hearing the entire series so I didn't want to miss anything that would be important to the next one but it was torturous. I was mostly tunning most of it out but still hoping that Hunter would finally come to his senses and realise the huge mistake he was making.

It should have been Izzy. She was completely honest (unlike Madison), strong, fun and passionate. He laughed, chuckled and smiled so often with her. Izzy was a true rock for all his suffering, made him a better man throughout the years and improved his life in general. She helped Hunter back on his feet throughout literally everything and even inspired him to learn a second language.

10 years of hard work and care between Izzy and Hunter on the home, the ranch, it's animals, it's workers and the life under that roof. Stolen. With just one appearance from the woman who broke him and ruined his life in the first place.

Make it make sense.

Hunter is an utter fool. Izzy suffered so much in life that this last blow was just horribly unfair and cruel. To be forgotten about so instantly by the man who took her innocence, used her for a decade and kept telling her he loved her in the end... My heart just kept breaking.

She had such a big heart, she put him first until the very end. She deserved so much more. He should have never touched Izzy from the start.

I feel cheated on, betrayed and thrown away.
