our six hour journey across France with our eight year old daughter seemed like 30 minutes. The story is very well written, has great twists and turns, superb characters. I cannot recommend this book highly enough

A gripping story not to be missed

This author is the first to deal with the problems of speech, food, and cleanliness of a time in the past. Having seen the way they wrote in the 17th century, I realised that you would be hard pressed to understand what people back then said to you, if you time travelled. Not only that, her descriptions of the food in those times showed good research.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There were no chapters that made me want to turn pages to get back to the heroes, when it covered what was happening to other characters, as a lot of books do. I'm usually only interested in what is happening to the main characters.

Couldn't wait to read/hear, what happened next.

Highly recommended to those who do not wish to be bombarded with swear words and so called grown up bits.

Brilliant Time Travel
