Thank you, Audible!

A great collection of classic ghost stories, beautifully read by Simon Callow, wrapped in a very clever framing story. I loved listening to this, and can’t wait to do so again.

Atmospheric!

Excellent performance, not just by the narrator but by the whole cast. Just enough sound effects to entice without making it a radio play. Perfect for Christmas time! Superbly narrated by Simon Callow.

Good reading.

Simon Callow has an amazing voice. He brought all the stories to life. Will look out for more books he has read.

A real treat

Thank you Audible. I came across Simon Callow many years ago and have loved his performances over the years. This was no exception. A number of ghostly tales I just listened to from start to finish. I have placed a reminder to do it again next year. Thank you !!!

Storytelling that runs shivers up the spine and with a twist at the end. Thoroughly enjoyable.
