Summary

Doch eines Tages kommt die Dreiundzwanzigjährige dem Tod näher, als sie geahnt hätte - beginnend mit einer unerwarteten Nachricht aus Heidelberg: Ihr Bruder, zu dem sie seit Jahren keinen Kontakt mehr hat, hat sich aus unerklärlichen Gründen das Leben genommen.

Widerwillig reist Lena in die romantische Touristenstadt am Neckar, um seinen Nachlass zu regeln. Absorbing, spine-chilling tale

For listeners who can understand German, Ghostbox is one of the best downloads that Audible has to offer. Ivar Leon Menger's series Monster 1983, while very engaging, could be described as being arguably over-long. This is not the case with his latest Audible offering which packs an awful lot of twists and turns into a 10-hour performance.

To use an old cliche, it is a roller-coaster ride through some very dark places of the human psyche, as well as what lies beyond the human realm.

I will almost certainly listen to Ghostbox again in the near future. It's recordings like this that keep me subscribed to Audible.
