Spögler wollte mit seinem Bolzenschussgerät den vorhergehenden Abend seiner Stammtischrunde etwas auflockern. Ein anderer hat offenbar die Gunst der Stunde genutzt und ihn damit getötet. Verdächtig ist vor allem die Prominenz des Ortes, denn diese hatte mit Spögler gezecht. Kein leichter Fall für den jungen Oberkommissar Max Kramer.
